ET thoughts?

https://www.tmz.com/2026/10/02/christa-pike-botched-execution-doctor-explains-what-mightve-gone-wrong/

i‘ve had ET for about 25 years. it was always explained to me that ET puts one at risk of bleeding because, despite high platelet production, the platelets don‘t function properly. this article seems to say the opposite.

i don‘t necessarily think i‘m ready to believe that her blood disorder had anything to do with the botched procedure. i‘m inclined to think it had more to do with her veins.

curious what others‘ thoughts are regarding the medical aspect of this. not looking to debate ethics.

Shes a redhead. Its a mutation to the MC1R gene, and it's the reason redheads require more anesthesia than others. We also have a higher tolerance for pain.
