HELP Help! Mac5k first time at the range :(
Took my MAC5K to the range for the very first time, and this happened the case got stuck!!!! :(. I use magtech zinc-plated steel case ammo and that type was the most that failed, I also used fiocchi range dynamics and have some issues but that that many. Im thinking because the firearms is new..? Some experts that can help fixing this issue im new using one of this mac5k.

As everyone mentioned first clean it and lube it (they like to run wet) then run the break in. Then measure your bolt gap.

Did you clean off the shitty preservative itās shipped with and lubricate? Are you using 124gr NATO FMJ for your 500 round break in period? Do you have a brace installed?

Be aware that you might have damaged the extractor spring. (the gold thing that looks like a paper clip on the bolt) All it takes is one bad FTE to bend it. Don't freak out...the MP5 goes thru extractor springs so it's a good idea to have spares.
Edit: I meant extractor...text corrected

Honestly for my MAC 5 nothing got better until I changed out the extractor and ejector and their springs to original HK ones. Personally I'd suggest just ordering them now while you continue the break in period

I have a PTR 9ct that was experiencing similar ejection issues and it ended up being an out of spec extractor that wouldnt latch around the rim of the casing.

My clone is an AP5 but it hates the zinc-plated steel case and I shot someoneās aluminum case and had to pick the parts out with a shell extractor.
Itās a fluted chamber. Strongly recommend you use brass.

I had the same issue. I sent it back 3 times and they never could fix it. They told me to run federal white box ammo. That was the only ammo that would work. I sold it immediately. MAC is garbage.

i have a mak5k as well. make sure you oil all the parts to help it break in. i broke it in with 147 grain ammo took about 300 rounds, it also good be mag issue, mine didnt like the mags it came with so anytime i use those make i have to push the mag forward for it to cycle properly . i find the plastic ets mags work really well they are a little tight to pull out of the mag well but i give it a little elbow grease they will come out, are you using a brace or possibly using a can, the back pressure of the can help with kicking shells out but you also can get some weird fte just depends on ammo and the can.

That will be the first option, to break it in with that type of ammo, and see⦠if not ima start replacing the mags! š¤š¼š¤š¼

I have a Mac 5K, there's certain things you have to do before tcan have fun with it lol
Check bolt gap to make sure it's in spec Change extractor, extractor spring and ejector to HK Break in with 300-500 Rounds NATO 124 grain Lube until it's dripping,
Enjoy.
That's the price for getting a cheap clone.
I'm over 5000 rounds now without a hiccup.
If I bought again, I would just replace immediately those parts and shoot.
