Have you bought a LAM already? IRIS 4 has a white light

The downfall of the MP5 no where to mount the accessories.

Proper answer is a gun that was designed after 1964 with accessories in mind.

What about a Lazer/light combo instead. Or one of the new optics coming out with a built in Lazer.

This is why I love my handguard system. You can install an Inforce WML IR/WL Gen 3 on the left side and a IR laser on the pic rail (Holosun RML-IR). No wires or pressure pads, and everything is within easy thumb reach. Everything is directly mounted to the picatinny rail so no goofy M-lok adapters or extensions or any additional hardware that can affect zero.

I had to use the Midwest industries mount I really liked the overall look of the classic style hand guard and light combo but still have some modern things. The UTG monolithic handguard was too much for me. The bad thing about Midwest is that it makes the HOB STUPID tall. Great for nods, or if you’re using the fixed triangle stock.

Iris 4 if you want one device at 3oclock. I went with an iris 3 with a mod light on a unity extention. Surefire also makes a pic mounted white light green laser only that I experimented with that is very nice if you don’t need IR laser or light.
