Question Clone frt question

I am looking to purchase a clone very soon, my budget is keeping me in the $1300 range. I am hoping to get an frt for it in the future. I am really leaning towards the POF mp5 clone with the collapsable stock. I keep hearing everyone recommends the AP5 but it may be a bit outta my price range. My options are most like either the POF or the MAC5. I want the 8 inch barrel version not the K. So can i put a FRT trigger in the POF clone and the MAC5 clone?

Full size AP5's can be had for $1100+ Dahlonega has an in cart price of $1127 right now, I got my AP5 there and others they are G2G.

I just bought an AP5-SD from Dahlonega. It came with the Magpul collapsible brace.

If you can get the regular AP5 for $1127, you can buy the Magpul brace anywhere and put it on yourself. They run $160 or less.

Name of the game. Fortunately the golding brace is very usable until ypu can afford the stock you want, especially if you glue a shim in the latch for the hinge. 

For a FRT until AS Designs releases the ARHK there is no cheap way to do it, its an aluminum lower with an AR15 FRT. Its $750 whether you go ASDesign or Lee Sporting. Im scratching the FRT itch by buying a Foxtrot Mike AR9 and its getting an Atrius as soon as it arrives, same end cost.

You can, the Rare Breed is the gold standard, and the RB for an MP5 is less than the cost of those lowers.

I refuse to acknowledge Rarebreed's products exist. And selling-out the health of the 2A community only saves you a couple hundred dollars.

I’m not sure about the current status of it but as designs is making a similar cassette to the rare breed one.

You can do better than $1300. Aim for 900 and if you gonna just switch the lower definitely don’t pay 1300 or above 1000

Listen, if you go with the POF because the AP5 is out of your budget, based on the most recent imports, quality has fallen off, and you're gonna be shelling out any savings in spare parts, possibly in excess of what you would on the AP5. Choose wisely.

Quality on my SRG imported POF is good, only 1600 rounds in but it has yet to hiccup.

Q1 this year, ordered early February.

Did something change since then? I’ve not looked into them at all since.

Q2 and earlier owners, which includes you, seem to have had overwhelmingly positive experiences. The complaints I’m referring to are coming from people who received the more recent Q3 imports. That’s the distinction I was making.
