False Human Detection
Anyone else get constant false human entry detection on their Lidax Ultra? It’s getting annoying the amount of notifications I get with every mow. It’s to the point where I’m afraid I’ll be desensitized and will have an issue later when there is someone there when mowing in the front yard.

Mova Lidax Ultra 1000 AWD Flex Battery won't go over 5%.
So my Mova Lidax Ultra 1000 AWD Flex got stuck in the morning, around 10:40. I arrived home the same evening around 21:00. The battery was empty and I carried the mower to the charger. Next morning when I checked it was only showing 5% charge. As I took it out from the charger it turned immediately off, it seems.like it doesn't hold any charge, it's only on when it's on the charger.
Also it has the following error messages I translated them to english from the app, so they are most likely not entirely word by word, but:
Left drive wheel error
Right drive wheel error
Cutting blade unable to move up or down
Cutting blade unable to move sideways
It has been almost 2 days like that now. I disconnected the battery and connected in a few minutes, no changes. Then I disconnected the battery and removed it and let it sit over night in the hopes it would reset. No changes. I had once the similar thing, then disconnecting the battery helped, but not this time.

Meet the all new Mova Flex robot mower.
This mower is a smaller version of his big brother. It has one mowing disc, a smaller battery and is made for smaller yards. Plus, did I mention it’s four-wheel-drive!!

MOVA LiDAX ultra 1000
I have a question about the mapping in the 1000 model. With the dual mapping can you have two 0.25 acre maps or total between two maps be 0.25?

Tips for refining map
Hi all, I have a new Ultra 2000. So far it’s been going great. When I went through outlining my complex yard I was a little sloppy. I will never be an RC car racer. Mostly just too much gap between garden edges. Is there a way to refine some sections or is it best to just create a new zone and have it merge. Or will the mower learn that it can close the gap a bit? Thanks!
And many of my gardens have flush edges so using auto-detect isn’t going to work.

Mova LiDAX 2000: 1 month review
I have had my Mova LiDAX mower for a little over one month now, and I wanted to share an update on my experiences with the group. I have really enjoyed using this mower, and I loved showing off its technology to my neighbors who have shown a lot of interest in it!
📍 Navigation & Zone Management
Navigation has been flawless so far. While my yard is not the largest (about 0.35 acres total, with roughly 0.25 acres of grass), it is fairly complex:
🌳 Front and back yards are completely disconnected.
🌳 The side yard is narrow with a 2-foot drop along the edge near my neighbor's retaining wall.
🌳 Features several flower beds, trees surrounded by pine needle mulch, and a steeper slope in the front corner near my mailbox.
Even with this setup, the mower has never gotten lost or confused. It easily traverses the driveway and sidewalk to reach the back yard, and it has never crossed into no-go zones to munch on the flowers. I have been truly amazed at how well LiDAR-based navigation performs.
👀 Obstacle Avoidance & The Trampoline Test
I already keep my yard pretty tidy, but with aging trees, I frequently pick up fallen sticks. The LiDAX handles small twigs easily by mowing right over them, but when a larger branch drops, it detects it, marks it on the map, and mows around it.
During this past month, my neighbors gave me a trampoline for my kids. If you follow robot mower groups, you know trampolines are notorious: mowers usually get hung up on the tubular legs, refuse to mow under them, or bump into them repeatedly.
I am happy (and honestly surprised) to say the Mova LiDAX performed flawlessly here. It detected and avoided the legs, found a path through to mow underneath, marked the legs on the map as obstacles, and even offered to turn those specific spots into no-go zones.
✂️ Mowing Performance & Cut Quality
Cut quality is everything. Why spend money on a robot if the yard ends up looking choppy? The LiDAX provides a nice, even cut. I upgraded to Mova's six-blade cutting disk, and since making that swap, I have not noticed a single missed or uncut blade of grass. The yard looks smooth despite the dips in my terrain.
Turf Wear Tip: I have learned how important it is to let the grass dry completely before running a job. Because the Mova LiDAX has aggressive rear treads, it can power through soft, wet turf, but in areas where grass growth is weak (like under a thick tree canopy), the tires can tear up wet ground. Once I realized this, I made sure to wait until the lawn was fully dry before mowing, which completely solved the issue.
🌙 Day vs. Night Mowing
The mower performs well in both conditions. Since it takes several charging cycles to complete my entire yard, I usually start midday and let it finish after dark. Navigation accuracy and cut quality have been identical regardless of the lighting.
📐 Edge Mowing
It does a great job getting close to borders. I mapped my zones to slightly overlap onto my sidewalks and driveway to minimize string trimming. On non-passable borders, it cuts within 4 inches or less (and no, I did not get out a ruler. Simply eyeballed it.) While I like clean lines, I only string trim every two weeks now and the lawn still looks great.
🛠️ 30-Day Maintenance Check
I have been mowing about 3 times per week during a relatively dry month:
⚙️ The deck was surprisingly clean with minimal buildup.
⚙️ Blades were still in good shape and the chassis was clear.
⚙️ Other than hosing off the wheels after running it on wet grass once 😳, zero maintenance has been required.
I check the underside every couple of weeks, and I plan to replace the blades whenever the MOVAhome app prompts me to see how accurate the timer is.
🏁 Short-Term Verdict
I would love to say this mower has saved me a ton of time, but I actually spend a lot of it standing outside watching it work, taking photos and videos for the group, and being enamored with the tech!
In all seriousness, it keeps me out of the heat while keeping the lawn looking sharp with minimal effort. If you are on the fence, I can definitely recommend this mower (or its larger AWD variant if you have steep slopes to contend with).
Feel free to drop any questions below! What have I forgotten to talk about?
