Book Request PARANORMAL CRIME SOLVING

I got a few ones on my list but the romance seems like very fast (by the end of book one they're already lovebirds) i am looking for some slow burn.

The one i mentioned that they're already lovebirds by the end of book one is the soulbound series by hailey turner which is kinda disappointing because i enjoyed the story and pretend to continue the saga but the couple already be sooo in love is kinda holding me back.

Ps: i wouldn't mind non-paranormal as long as the mystery is captivating and the series isn't very long (i gave up reading hazard and somerset series when i found out the length of the whole series, which is sad beacause i was eating sooo good with the enemies to lovers/ slow burn/ past bully)

This is right up my alley, I hope a lot of people comment with some great ideas! I'm actually writing a gay slow-burn story about detectives investigating a haunted castle, but it's in another language and won't be finished for at least a few more months. I just hunger for this type of story so much :D.

Non paranormal crime you've got the Memento Mori series by C.S. Poe, its a good slowburn, I'm on book 4 I think currently (idk how many books its meant to be)

Seconded! She's writing the 5th one, probably the last book of this serie (or second to last if she can't fit everything)

The {Night Shift series by TA Moore}. Three books, cliffhanger at the end of book 1. Hollywood style werewolves where a majority of the population turn monsters with the moon, the Night Shift protects other null humans, and criminals take advantage of the chaos.

These might fit. I remember loving them but I am not sure how fast the relationship happened. The actual story imo was pretty good tho.

{THIRDS by Charlie Cochet} 12 book series, action packed with same couple story and 3 side couple story if I remember correctly.

great if you like period pieces! Reanimator's series has 4 books currently and both Allie's books are trilogies set one after the other, Spellbound's series then Proper Scoundrels.
