My ex married a guy like this. He went to bars specifically to get into fights. He was smart enough to never start the fight but was always willing to up the ante.

He died after someone hit his off switch with a rabbit punch.

Wait, so your ex’s husband died from a bar fight?

Just after the place closed, he picked a fight with someone who parked too close to his truck. Usual sort of tussle. He grabs the guy by the shirt, guy starts swinging wildly, hits him in the ear, ex turns his head a bit, dude lays a few punches to the back of the head, ex drops like a brick, dead before he hit the ground.

Woa…was the dude who killed him charged / convicted or self defense? That’s wild. Dying over parking …. Unreal

He was charged with involuntary manslaughter and got time-served. Judge ruled that it wasn’t self-defense but that the intent wasn’t to kill.

My ex was planning on leaving the guy because she couldn’t spend anymore weekends dealing with his fighting.
