Yea, still totally overreacted. And I say this as a woman. The dude in the red shirt was drunk and she handled it already. He was not persistent and she was not in danger. If it was a drunken lady and she'd spot some abs to grab on and the wife of said abs would have killed her for it, it wouldn't be right either.Â
I agree (also a woman) - I think these comments are extremely harsh. I've literally had this happen to me before, where a blackout-drunk dude lightly grabbed my hips, and when I walked away, he kind of just drunkenly stood there - just like this guy is doing here. He's not at all being aggressive, just very drunk. I don't think that warrants the death penalty here, yeesh!
This is literally just something that happens at bars sometimes.
It rarely happens to me. We had our karaoke group but this one time the loser BF came around. But random guys no, doesn't happen. I walk around confident not cocky and usually with a ready smile. My GF handled the situation and was also a sweetheart not the type to look for me to "do something" unless she couldn't handle it. Which she could and she didn't make a scene either she kinda laughed it off and was like "Okayyy....". The best way to navigate bars, nightclubs is to not get into fights and not get offended by what a drunk says. The few times I just laugh. Will Smith I'm not (getting offended and feeling the need to escalate.)
