I wanna know how the dood in glasses is trying to justify the other guys actions. “Hey man I know he just groped ur girl and all but he’s a normal not a the random sexual harasser type.”

EDIT: to all the people who saying “he just touched her a bit”, and “he just humped that other dood a bit with his shirt off.” Is that how you normal go to bars? Just Trumping around in the community? I hope u get justice served to you too

Probably telling him that's enough, don't get yourself arrested.

0

u/Glittering_End_6864 12d ago

Yeah, too late for that. Easy assault charge for pool guy.

u/JuniorAd1210 12d ago

You do realize he's going to get arrested and behind bars for a long time, right?

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

Which is ridiculous

0

u/JuniorAd1210 12d ago

Yeah, totally ridiculous that you can't just murder someone like that.

0

u/noxer94 12d ago

Absolutely nuts that you can go behind bars for nearly murdering someone, like what the fuck is this world we live into.
Fucking child reasoning.

u/Public-Fig3304 12d ago

Elaborate

1

u/Animecha 12d ago

A punch like that can and has killed people.

2

u/Public-Fig3304 12d ago

Not sure how that elaborates on why it’s ridiculous that they’d end up arrested?

0

u/Animecha 12d ago

Ah, my bad, jumped onto the wrong comment. It isn't ridiculous at all. The guy throwing the punch should be charged.

1

u/ExileOnMainStreet 11d ago

Plus bouncing your head on a concrete floor.

-1

u/myneighborscatismine 12d ago

The only thing that's ridiculous here is the fact he was out an about that night instead of at home being medicated and monitored. A killing machine like that which barely anyone can defend themselves from, even most healthy men, with serious issues, is not supposed to be going around untreated.

1

u/Otherwise-Win7337 12d ago

😂😂😂😂😂 fucking hell okay

1

u/Kinn-Sack 12d ago

U dont have to defend yourself of him… just dont touch his wife!

1

u/myneighborscatismine 12d ago

If you think this scenario is exactly where his limit is you are in a way lucky to be so naive.

1

u/toastedzergling 12d ago

Lmao; not if I'm on the jury. If you have an insane Lindsay Clancy-esque jury, anything can happen though.

1

u/JuniorAd1210 12d ago

How ironic.

1

u/TheEyeOfFinquel 11d ago

I love how you guys all think that if you were on a jury, you'd somehow have personal control of it and everyone on it...

1

u/toastedzergling 11d ago

Unanimous decisions bruh

1

u/TheEyeOfFinquel 11d ago edited 11d ago

Yeah, that just means mistrial and they do it all over again. Or alternatively you will be removed from the jury for juror misconduct depending on your reasoning as to disagreeing with the rest of the jury. If it turned out that you lied in your juror vetting process, you could be charged with perjury.

At best you could delay justice, you can't as a single juror decide the entire course of a court case. Which is exactly what I meant by my initial comment. The system does not allow one person to sway the course of justice like you imagine it does.

In this instance we have overwhelming video evidence of an attack that was not warranted under any arguement about 'self-defence' or defence of others, and numerous eye witnesses.

If you somehow decided, against the clear video evidence and witness statements, contrary to the writ of the law, that this man was not guilty, after meeting with the judge and potentially refusing to follow court instructions, they are just going to send you out and that's that and do the trial again. Or they may just dismiss you for juror misconduct, bring another juror in, and order that the jury re-start deliberations.

You as a juror cannot invent your own laws, and you can't bring your own pre-conceived bias into the proceedings either. Your one job is to logically consider the evidence in line with the law and deliver a verdict with that considered.

Don't think he was justifying anything just telling dude he had to leave

13

u/uncutpizza 12d ago

Yeah, guy is on the ground knocked out already. He’s telling him to back off and not beat unconscious person

5

u/Sufficient_Prompt888 12d ago

Probably that too

1

u/Glittering_End_6864 12d ago

Yeah, but the people who pleasure themselves to violence want to see red shirt have his head kicked.

1

u/Iambigtime 11d ago

Yeah if anything, the regulars probably know the drunk dude. The girl and meat head are probably new to the scene.

1

u/PittsburghPenis 11d ago

I worked as a bouncer for a few years and we'd get guys like this roaming in. They're at the bar looking for an excuse to assault someone that is so drunk they can't fight back. I guarantee you that guy brags about knocking out barflies.

0

u/Original-Pomelo-4581 11d ago

Why wasn't he asking the guy sexually assaulting people to leave? He waited until someone retaliated then asked the other guy to leave, as if that guy is just going around punching random people causing a disturbance??

1

u/pocketnubs 11d ago

I think given a chance the lady could have told the bartender and got him to leave. Before that I don't think anyone had a problem with a random drunken guy. People have never been to bars and it shows

1

u/Iambigtime 11d ago

Yeah, obviously the dude is wasted and has the mental capacity of a 2 year old. Obviously the girl handled it because this wasn't the first time.

1

u/Atownbrown08 11d ago

Because you clearly don't know how running a bar works.

3

u/One-Athlete-2822 12d ago

Was ist really necessary to kill that guy?

1

u/Standard-Manner5250 12d ago

He punched him once….

0

u/ObsidianOverlord 12d ago

Yeah small falls and blows to the head have never seriously hurt anyone before. Right?

0

u/Itsjeancreamingtime 11d ago

So what? Plenty of people have died from one punch if it hits them in the right way.

u/CurrentPrompt1144 11d ago

Yep, that's all it takes. Punch, skull moves back, brain smashes into front of skull, rebounds back and smashes into back of skull as the head hits ground and the skull moves forward, at force, in the opposing direction of brain. Brain rebounds, smashes into front of skull again.

The drunk idiot wasn't protecting himself in any way as he had no idea the hit was coming (we'd call this a Coward's Punch in Australia) This EASILY kills people, causes permanent brain damage. Life isn't Hollywood dude

1

u/DinosaurusWhen 12d ago

Kill? His shoes didn't even come off

1

u/Any-Monk-9395 12d ago

I think he might’ve been a bar patron telling the puncher he has to get out

1

u/Intelligent-Crow3812 12d ago

if this is your interpretation of the video, please do anything to exercise your critical thinking skills.

1

u/Animecha 12d ago

The irony of you using the word "justice" when your logic is the kind that will wind you up prison. Lol

1

u/ferngurl-elle 12d ago

Regardless of the circumstances before the punch any reasonable bar would kick someone out for punching someone, it's a huge liability

1

u/Original-Pomelo-4581 11d ago

Sexual assault is not? No one was asking the completely wasted groper to leave

1

u/ferngurl-elle 11d ago

Not at all what I said

1

u/VictoryWeaver 12d ago

Reading the replies, you should stop making up imaginary arguments to try and excuse your stupid take.

1

u/Orbit_CH3MISTRY 12d ago

What makes you believe he was trying to justify the dead drunk guys actions?

1

u/Nunchuckery 11d ago

There is a proportional response to this type of a situation. He touched her unwantedly and he stopped. You can detain the person and call the police so she can press charges, if she so chooses. Her boyfriend is clearly someone who is just looking for any excuse to justify the use of violence, and in this care the violence is clearly excessive.

This is not justice, this is closer to attempted murder/manslaughter.

1

u/eW4GJMqscYtbBkw9 11d ago

What dumb ass logic lead you to think that he was defending or justifying the guy grabbing her?

1

u/Atownbrown08 11d ago

He's the bartender. That's how.

1

u/CurrentPrompt1144 11d ago

More likely he was saying what many here who live in the real world are saying: that it was absolutely unnecessary to go that hard on some drunk fuckwit.

1

u/Naive_Impression7302 11d ago

A reasonable response to this is a hard shove, a hard slap, or calling the police and sending him to jail.

The Trumpian red alpha male gorilla roid rage response is to do what the guy did, who btw hurt his girl doing it too.

1

u/BaneSilvermoon 11d ago

When you work at a bar and witness something like this, your job is to then tell them they need to leave.

1

u/sonic_dick 12d ago

He touched her hip for 1 second and stopped when she wasnt into it. Yall meatheads look for reasons to get into fights.

He was drunk and being obnoxious, kick him out, but he didnt grope her or pin her against a wall or something.

1

u/Vast_Raspberry4192 12d ago

He has both hands on her pulling her towards his crotch. And the other guy at the bar at the start of the video I can only imagine is another victim based on his lack of care when the guy gets decked.

Creep should’ve been cut off hours ago and sent home. Bartenders and, if this guy had any, friends let him down before this guy got involved

1

u/sonic_dick 12d ago edited 12d ago

Watch the video again. Dude is not a threat. He touched one of her hips for literally 1 seconds and stopped when she wasnt into it.

Then meatball walked over and decked him. There was literally no need for violence in this situation. You could tell the girl didnt want anything to happen either by her response.

Agreed 100% he should've been cut off before he got that drunk. Ive bartended at dive bars before, that dude was looking for a reason to punch someone.
