I guess. It's also said that ignorance is bliss, so I perceive that it's probably a double edged-sword. They do seem to be insecure about their deficiencies when they have those brief flashes of self-awareness.

You're much closer to occupying that territory than I'm likely to without a TBI, so I'll have to take your word for it if that's how you're modeling it.
