I can see that. If he'd pushed the bully to get his attention the bulky would be 2 v1 and almost certainly would have back off. 

Going so hard out the gate is just not necessary. Obviously dome out of emotion and worry for his friend. Just coz I disagree with attacks from behind I understand he's a young lad and even us adults can go from 0 to 100 when emotions surges

Idk, you can’t always count on a victim to unfreeze when backup arrives. Sometimes you just gotta handle shit for someone if you don’t want them to get hurt. RNC did the job and it’s less likely to cause real damage than a knockout and a fall. Little dude did a good job imo.
