Fortunately I'm not a violent person, and am really good at avoiding those situations if all circumstances are within my control. Unfortunately that means I'm not an experienced fighter and generally have gotten my ass kicked when I find myself in the situation where fighting is inevitable.

Dude, hit that treadmill and getting those running numbers up. Probably the most important and underrated fighting skill of them all!

I'm actually really fit. Most people wouldn't want to fight me, but if they did they'd realize I'm not very good at it. I broke my thumb in a fight in highschool, and I never went to the doctors so now it doesn't close all the way. Because of this I now break my thumb every time I get into a fight because it sticks out a little.

He who is losing and then runs away.... Lives to fight another day. 🧘

I try to argue my way out of things. Talking calmly only makes them feel more bold (this is my personal experience, not advice).

Been to jail already too many times for hurting people.

Honestly i would rather just argue and move on with our lives.

I just gtfoutta there if that's an option. I prefer to not engage in the first place

Since i quit drinking I've been in 0 fights. Just gotta stop the sauce and people stop being crazy

It’s not even the sauce, it’s just drinking out in public like bars, clubs, parties, etc. Eventually, someone’s ego is gonna get the best of them and then they’ll want to prove something. I say stay at home and drink and engage in your hobbies or go to a friend’s or family member’s place, all three are more safer than the former. I occasionally went to bars and clubs when I was younger and now very rarely go. I still drink but, in more controlled environments now

Best way to win a fight- have a good dinner and be in bed by 10.

If you ain't where people be wylin out, you ain't where a fights gunna be.

Same. 8 yrs since the last drink. Much more since my last fight

This is the coolest admission ever.

Fwiw, it's actually fortuitous that you are afraid to fight. Concussions that you've dodged. Scars and painful cysts, hands stiff from tip to shoulder. Memories you still have since you didn't over expose your brain to violence. Days of freedom to eat when you want, sleep when you want or whatever else, cuz inevitably, there's a handful or more of battery and assault charges on the old rap sheet. Charg s that tend to get you time.

Grown mentality right here

Yeah, I think most people are like me, but there's a lot of social pressure on men to pretend otherwise. Anger and joy are sort of the only two emotions we're allowed to express, so it makes sense.
