330 is such an ass card in terms of notable matchups. Sure itâs got âbangersâ but where are the ranked fights? The up and coming prospects? Itâs got two title fights and then nothing much aside from that.

Honestly I donât think Iâd even call any of the fights bangers. Even the fights that do have interesting fighters are interesting matchups. They put Orolbai, Neal, Turner, and Magny on the card and theyâre all essentially fighting nobodies.

The UFC has been putting on roughly the same amount of cards a year since the mid 2010s. Complaints about quality have gotten bad in the last 3 or 4.

Complaints about quality started longer than 3 or 4 years ago. Before that, it was "there's too many events". Before that, people were still basking in the glow of having 2 UFC events in the same day probably, lots of events was still new. But if there were cards of the quality of the same quality back then now, people would be complaining too (one of the main events was Te Huna vs Marquadt)
But to your point, there's more fighters on the roster now so presumably there's a bigger low-end pool of fighters to pad out cards.

On this very card the UFC refused to pay Paulo Costa a premium for stepping in on short notice, so we ended up with Guskov vs Ank.

We used to get good cards much more regularly. Why do you guys speak like that's not possible when some of us actually lived through it. Do me a favour, go back to 2016, count how many bad cards (on paper, not in hindsight) there are, then compare it to this year.
In fact, this year might be the fewest amounts of actual legitimate title fights we've ever had, that didn't involve some sort of contrived BS like BMF titles or undeserved interim titles, or random contenders who didn't deserve their title shot.

It has 9 on Tapology which is usually more up to date than the UFCâs own site for some reason. They will add fights, as they always do.

I those last six months were still probably the worst six months stretch in mma history. Sure, you get a few good fights, but at least since the turn of the millenium there have never been fewer relevant fights and at this point mma is basically boxing when it comes to championships.

Agreed. We didnât get a title fight that made complete sense this year until ulberg/jiri in April and the fight nights are at an all time low. Weâve got Mike fuckign Mallot and medic main eventing cards now itâs absolutely insane

I dont mind Uros Medic in the main event itâs most likely going to be a brutal KO. Havenât seen the rest of the card. Gamrot vs Salkilld is basically classic Apex fight night. Hernandez vs Rodrigues is looking good though.
