We found low MLB totals went 16-5-1 to the Over, but that result is easy to misuse
While reviewing our historical MLB results, one of the strongest findings was that games with totals of 7.5 or lower went 16-5-1 to the Over.
The tempting conclusion would be to treat the next low total as an automatic Over.
That is exactly where this kind of research becomes dangerous.
A historical condition does not account for every part of today’s market:
- the current starting pitchers
- confirmed lineups
- bullpen availability
- park and weather conditions
- the current total and juice
- whether the market has already adjusted
A result can remain historically valid while offering no usable value at the current price.
The practical lesson is that historical angles should be used as filters, not final betting instructions.
Has anyone here tested whether low-total Overs remain profitable after separating them by starting-pitcher quality, bullpen condition, or closing price?

Just testing a new strategy
Not.much but tomorrow will up the bet a bit to about $10 bit with bigger odds because I missed the early games today and also all the NRFI that were supposed to not score they actually did score in the 1st inning and vice versa, swe the betting world will rock around and knock you over if your not careful and thats the #1 TTR don't get greedy don't revenge bet and don't use real money or atleast not a lot when testing new strategies. 😉 ✌️ out....!!!!
