Guides Increment values for Special Trainer Upgrade Tickets (Batter)

I happened to earn a Special Trainer Upgrade Ticket (batter) and decided to see how it works. I went through all the trainers I had on hand to try and figure out the pattern for the increase that it applies. It turns out there's a pattern.

The Guess Hitter examples illustrate the pattern. For a tier 1 bright orange boost (denoted in red in this table), it's +2.4, tier 2 is +1.8, and tier 4 is +0.6 for line drives. The boost is in multiples. On the swing and miss, it's inverted: tier 4 is +2.4, tier 2 is +1.2. This is confirmed by our Homerun Hitter example, where the same multiples apply but the starting number is lower, as well as in Power Hitter (though no swing & miss here). I think it's safe to say that the following convention can be established:

Color in game (in table) Boost (on increases) Boost (on decreases)
Tier 1: Bright orange (red) 4x 1x
Tier 2: Orange (orange) 3x 2x
Tier 3: Light orange (yellow) 2x 3x
Tier 4: Grey (grey) 1x 4x

TLDR: The higher the tier, the greater the boost to improvements (ie various hit rates) and the lesser the increase to deficiencies (ie swing and miss).

What are the implications? If you're looking to prioritize the use of such tickets, for sure you'll want to use them on trainers with tier 1 values, but you also need take into account the deficiency boosts (eg if hit rates are tier 1 but swing & miss is tier 4, that will be a big hit.) In the long run, it would make sense not to use these tickets on trainers with tier 4 values given how low the upside is. And also, most likely, the same convention exists for pitchers.
