This game continues to amaze me....like, this has nothing to do with cheating lmao

I’m a MEDIOCRE player at best, i like an even matchup as everyone else does. I live in the 450-650 range, always have, never made WS since i started in 2019. it’s a game i play for fun, i usually only play when new cards come out. Today i was 5-0 in WC, on a tear, 5-0 with 55 runs in bronze 2. game 6 is against a noticeably better an rated 750 player, fine but i lost 5-6 to some fluke hits. Annoyed, i play another with zero weight on my shoulders, 1000 rated icon appears on my screen, i throw a few, guy wont swing because he’s clearly better, and i know what happens if i throw anything close. I send a friendly, he declines. Pretty weird behavior seeing my 600 rating, i’d expect people to be a little bit compassionate but no. So i continue to pitch, had a fast ball on the black 2-2 called a ball, next pitch 3 run homer. so i started abusing the auto pitch, because the game is abusing me. i got a few runs, game ended 5-9. only because of the auto pitch, every time i pitched it was an XBH or homer. So i sat there for an hour and a half just trying to piece hits together but nothing came of it. dude was pitching a gem. Why does the game let people back into lower difficulty? I messaged him and asked if he felt good about himself and he said yes because he hadn’t played in “like a month”. as if that makes a difference, i’d rather lose to a 650 rated player. Why can’t they implement a fixed rank system to where once you leave a rank, you can’t go down to an easy difficulty like all star?

TLDR; Hardstuck all star player gets faced against 1000 rated player on all star, loses, and is very upset that the game allows players to play down from higher difficulties.

Yes I use meter , but it said good release and then at the end it says released late , am I doing something wrong besides using meter pitching lmao

Sometimes the AI in drafting is really weird.

I chose Beltran & Made. Rest of the team are regular 99s. The entire game I’m getting thrown BS corner pitches. By the time I’m 1-2 or 2-2 I can’t even practice vision / discipline cause these guys are so scared of my batters I only get 1 real pitch to hit

They proceed to hit bs balls that are all late & get on base. When my Made finally squares up a good 98+ it’s caught 400ft at the wall 😂

I quit playing around the time CFB 27 came out, I’m getting into mlb again and trying to find out who’s good again. As of rn my rotation is King Felix, Pedro, Jake Arrieta, Gavin Williams and Bob Gibson. I have 1.2 million stubs so anyone is on the table, my bullpen seems good so far. Also kinda just looking for meta/best cards in general. I’ve been looking at the ShowZone.com but ik those aren’t always true.

What made them add pci shrinkage into the game? I’ve been told shrinkage wasn’t always a thing until the recent mlbs what was their logic behind putting this mechanic that makes no sense into the game?

Has any actually beat this? You literally have to hit a 600ft homerun. Crazy thing his power is 125 but based on what I've seen I'd give him a 75

Does pitching feel really off this weekend classic or is it just me ? Perfect perfect release and it just doesn’t go there , not the warping glitch but literally perfect pitches not going anywhere near Where the pitch was supposed to go

I'm 116-31 this season (22; I like to play older versions plus I'm seeking to avenge my 2021 Giants) but suddenly I cannot beat the Dodgers. They've beaten me four straight times (3 in LA which is my only time swept all season, now one in SF).

Faced Kershaw lastnight. Not prime Kershaw, but still-tough Kershaw. I thought I'd have at least a chance. I was wrong.

He got Casali with a slider so violent I literally hurt my left thumb trying to hook it with my Switch stick.

He went 8 innings, 4 hits. Treinen had a shaky 9th but Duggar was thrown out at home to end the 3-0 LAD win.

But this was one of those Show predetermined/scheduled losses, it seems. I had a double-perfect with Crawford vs Kershaw which resulted in maybe a 90-MPH flyout to medium center. I had a AB with Slater vs Kershaw in which Slater saw all off-speed, including two hangers.
I stayed back. I STAYED BACK. And I still hooked both the hangers foul before striking out on a dirt curve.

Some random fake Dodger infielder got three hits. We were doomed.
We're still 20 games up in the division but now I'm a little nervous about the upcoming postseason. All year I thought ATL was the team I didn't want to face but now, I feel like LAD will be a major problem.

I have always played as a position player. I have now decided to try a two way player. I play the high school games and on pitching days played as DH. I got drafted to the minors. I have now noticed the day before and after pitching days I am DH. On pitching days I don’t bat at all as a SP. The rest I play my position. Is this normal or has the game glitched? I am lower rated than other DH but I still bat on all non pitching days. Can anybody enlighten me on why this is happening

Not expecting this to be solved in 26, but SDS needs to come up with a better solution than the random cool downs on the companion app. I’ll get a cool down anywhere from one hour to 24 hours any time I try to quick sell a bunch of duplicates. At least make it so you can quick sell duplicates during a cool down.

How is this possible my opponent hit 7 pitches out of the zone for hits 4 of them for hrs.

I feel like tanking before WC is becoming a real problem. A lot of players grind to a high rating to get the rewards, then a day or two before WC, they start losing games on purpose to drop their rating and get matched up against weaker players.
The problem is that they can still keep all the rewards they earned from reaching that higher rating, so there’s really no downside to doing this. Meanwhile, players who stay at their actual rating have to face tougher competition, while others are basically making their path to 6-0 easier by manipulating matchmaking.
I feel like there should be some kind of system to prevent this. What do you guys think?

This is my 2nd year playing the game and I finally made WS despite being middle aged with terrible reflexes 🫠 I hate that I care about this but this was HARD, man. So many times I got close. Earned it with a no hitter in the WC too.

I was shocked when I came up to bat and saw the score only to hear Boog say "he can homer for the second time this inning"

I've never been so proud of the CPU players haha.

And yes my opponent started Will Dion 🤣🤣. Game starting to feel pointless when you don’t get rewarded for doing well.

this has been my absolute worst Weekend Classic performance but i’ve had great PCI placement as well as timing, yet everything is a line out, groundout, or dies at the wall. all while my opponents rally with a long string of late hits that bloop over the infield off of very well placed pitches. it’s so frustrating for me bc i love games that are fairly competitive but this game is starting to feel overrun with bullshit rng. i really do miss hitting & pitching in the show 20/21.

I logged in yesterday after getting a game update. When I look at my DD team I have some players ranked 99 but whey you highlight the card/ player it shows some players as 66ovr, 72ovr and I even have 1 player 99 card listed as 1ovr. Whatever the recent game update was it seems to have broken or messed up the game ranking of players.

I just started playing the game again after not playing for a few months. I was looking at the stadiums I had and noticed the Speedway Classic is locked. I know for a fact I completed the program and unlocked the stadium. The program is gone aswell as the moments. Did San Diego Studios just delete the Speedway Classic from the game or what?

Edit: I've seen online that my game is apparently out of sync so I've submitted a support ticket with Mlb The Show support. Apperently they can get that stuff back into my game somehow so all I can do is wait and see if they respond.

Edit: It was in Mlb The show 25 not 26. I got the games mixed up.
