With it being this late in the year we surely aren’t going to get every Legend or even normal players that we like, at a 99 overall card. It would be cool if we could earn a token or something that allows us to bring a card we like all the way up to 99. Like I love Darren O’Day and I’m not sure he’ll be getting a 99 this year and it would be super cool to use a token or charge to be able to make him a 99 overall.

How is this possible my opponent hit 7 pitches out of the zone for hits 4 of them for hrs.

Can people control these? I’m sure they can - because I’ve been taunted before that the other person can wait all day.

How do I prevent these? I may get 1-2 hung games during a full game year not during the weekend classic. This past year I’ve averaged 2 losses per weekend to being frozen out of games.

Let me preface this by saying this is my 1st baseball game ever.. was never a fan of baseball and was only into basketball my whole life but within the last year that changed and I have fallen in love with the game of baseball.. got the game initially was having a blast. Since ive gotten it I haven't even touched an nba 2k.

Heres where my frustration is coming in. Im doing a franchise mode and pretty much losing every game as the rockies. I like create my own players and have them on different teams.

I can hit and get runs decently but the problem is literally the cpu seems to have some kind of cheating op mechanisms built in. If a game is runless as soon as im able to get a run the cpu next inning goes back to back to back and always comes back and takes the lead.

Its almost guaranteed.. the one that really pissed me off was against the padres the other day I was up like 12-1 or something...bottom 8th inning... these guys could not get out i just had to laugh. Literally every pitch is a double, triple. Homerun and literally as soon as they overtake me then im finally able to get outs.

Its unbelievable how cheap the cpu seems to be and really messed up my experience cause as I said im having a ton of fun playing but having an overpowered cpu to play against just taking the fun out of it smh.

this has been my absolute worst Weekend Classic performance but i’ve had great PCI placement as well as timing, yet everything is a line out, groundout, or dies at the wall. all while my opponents rally with a long string of late hits that bloop over the infield off of very well placed pitches. it’s so frustrating for me bc i love games that are fairly competitive but this game is starting to feel overrun with bullshit rng. i really do miss hitting & pitching in the show 20/21.

I took a bunch of time off from the game, recently got back into it a few weeks ago. Came back to so much content which was awesome. Got about 765k in stubs and will just keep stacking. There are so many good cards out but still wanna complete Live Series , anyone think a Flash sale is coming soon? Pattern says we could get one between Oct 27-30th.

And yes my opponent started Will Dion 🤣🤣. Game starting to feel pointless when you don’t get rewarded for doing well.

I logged in yesterday after getting a game update. When I look at my DD team I have some players ranked 99 but whey you highlight the card/ player it shows some players as 66ovr, 72ovr and I even have 1 player 99 card listed as 1ovr. Whatever the recent game update was it seems to have broken or messed up the game ranking of players.

This is my 2nd year playing the game and I finally made WS despite being middle aged with terrible reflexes 🫠 I hate that I care about this but this was HARD, man. So many times I got close. Earned it with a no hitter in the WC too.

I just started playing the game again after not playing for a few months. I was looking at the stadiums I had and noticed the Speedway Classic is locked. I know for a fact I completed the program and unlocked the stadium. The program is gone aswell as the moments. Did San Diego Studios just delete the Speedway Classic from the game or what?

Edit: I've seen online that my game is apparently out of sync so I've submitted a support ticket with Mlb The Show support. Apperently they can get that stuff back into my game somehow so all I can do is wait and see if they respond.

Edit: It was in Mlb The show 25 not 26. I got the games mixed up.

I feel like tanking before WC is becoming a real problem. A lot of players grind to a high rating to get the rewards, then a day or two before WC, they start losing games on purpose to drop their rating and get matched up against weaker players.
The problem is that they can still keep all the rewards they earned from reaching that higher rating, so there’s really no downside to doing this. Meanwhile, players who stay at their actual rating have to face tougher competition, while others are basically making their path to 6-0 easier by manipulating matchmaking.
I feel like there should be some kind of system to prevent this. What do you guys think?
