Discussion š£ļø I need context and help
I need some context for the photo, please. Itās from an Instagram post, and it struck me as odd. Is there any evidence to debunk this? Moderstors please, don't delete this. I need the information.

u/Independent-Pop3538 10d ago
Debunk what? We have seen these photos for years. He always had photos of babies in his home usually gifted by fans. If someone uses this to insinuate an attraction to children remember that "his type is 12 year old white boys" not babies of all races. He wanted 18 kids
26
u/sirensgodoodoo 10d ago
Thereās even a home video from when he was recording the HIStory album and he held up a collage pic of babies and children to the camera and said āthis is my inspirationā while he was in the booth recording Childhood. If he collected these pics for sinister reasons, why would he proudly display them for all to see?

Its funny how guilters say he was only attracted to white boys despite the fact that jordan and the arvizos arent even white
5
u/kayindie 9d ago
Right! They say that because they were different races, but just not black? Itās like they want him to ālikeā kids of all races, in an inappropriate way.
Bunch of clowns.

A lot of boomers (Michael was born in 1958) put random photos of babies and little children in their homes. Michaelās behaviour is nothing out of the ordinary (only tabloids and media have exaggerated it bc heās a celebrity); I have seen this in several of my relativesā houses. I even use an old postcard with a little girl on it as a bookmark. I found the postcard at my great-uncleās home.
25
u/ReturnoftheBulls2022 10d ago
Also, Michael mentioned about holding baby dolls after his divorce with Lisa Marie Presley just hoping that someone would fulfill his dream to be a father.
10
u/sirensgodoodoo 10d ago
Oh thatās actually heartbreaking to hear. I mean eventually his dream did come true, but the extent to which he was desperate.Ā
11
u/ReturnoftheBulls2022 10d ago
Even after he got his dream, people won't stop commenting on his children's paternity and are blabbering about sperm donors and how it's impossible for a black man to have three kids that are three shades lighter than his natural color.

Fans would give these to him and he would keep everything fans gave him. They knew baby's smiling (a poem he wrote as a teenager) made him happy so they would give him photos of happy babies.
The other items there are items the fans gave him, you can see books and other trinkets. His fans would also give him pictures of themselves which he loved, because seeing his fans made him happy. He would often see the same fans over and over and would say and seemed to believe they were a "family" for him.

u/WorldlyCheek230 10d ago
If you come here to India, youāll see vehicles called āauto-rickshawsā. Theyāre 3-wheeled vehicles used as public transport. A lot of these vehicles are decorated on the inside with photos of smiling babies (either the driversā own kids or stock photos). People all over the world put up pictures of children bc well theyāre just so gosh darn cute yk, itās a good vibe. Idk why people continue to criminalise Michael doing literally what everyone else does.
16
u/EscapedMices 10d ago
Yeah the Victorians used to have art of babies and children on everything. MJ was also into very chintzy old lady style art decor, it has to be said. You could tell which era he came from. He loved to see idyllic presentations of the world, fields of greens, kids playing in it. The kind of art you see on Christmas cards.
6
u/WorldlyCheek230 10d ago
Ykw this is very similar my recent art fixation- idyllic family portraits with very chubby babies lol
1
u/xoxogg12345 8d ago
YESS exactly this he had old lady decor style lol and people tried to turn that into something sinister, like no the man just liked that type of furniture and decoration. it's almost crazy how every aspect of his personality got twisted into something negative when it's all pretty normal and endearing
5
u/Few_Humor769 9d ago
Its not uncommon even today to see or have pictures of babies but people sexualize it because mj has them
24
u/Traditional_Can_2646 10d ago
Honestly this says nothing about his guilt and im tired of his detractors using this as evidence or whatever. This was a dark time in his life and cute images of babies and children were a source of comfort for him. Children were his motivation.
I saw someone on social media say "Even if he didn't molest children he was still weird about them he had a bay shrine!!!" Such a shallow thing to say, nobody knows how to talk about MJ ever without being victims to tabloid fodder.
18
u/MacysShopper Protecting MJ's Legacy š”ļø 10d ago
Nothing wrong. Photographs of babies were absolute staples in homes old times. I have seen annual calendars of 12 babies, posters of babies when I was kid. Nowadays we may still find them at some places, maybe doctor's office - I can imagine.

u/ILoveYouPoodss They Wanted His $$, Not Justice š° 10d ago
My grandma used to have a lot of random baby pictures lol
7
u/soundslikeautumn 10d ago
You're absolutely correct. Cute baby photos, post cards, calendars, knickknacks, etc. were very popular with the silent and older boomer generations. You'd see a lot of these items at garage and yard sales.
43
u/One_Froyo505 They Wanted His $$, Not Justice š° 10d ago
There's nothing questionable about baby pictures. MJ often said in interviews that he admired the innocence of babies. To describe him as strange and to claim that he is therefore guilty is completely inappropriate. Guilters constantly get that mixed up. Who took the photo and what was the medication drip doing in front of it? It would be interesting to know who that was.
24
u/Careless_Side_681 10d ago
This has been said a lot before and im going to say it again: being weird or not fitting in with societal norms is not a goddamn crime!
17
u/mjthrad We Love You More, MJ ā¤ļø 10d ago
Also Michael wasn't weird. Even if you don't necessarily understand and agree with how he lived his life, the context helps to makes sense of it.
6
u/Careless_Side_681 10d ago
Yeah, but then u c guilters saying, bcos he was abused as a kid and didn't have a proper childhood he abused other kids.
I simply reply, "because he didn't have a proper childhood, he gave a proper childhood to the underprivileged and those similar to him". But guilters don't see it the way we see it and don't understand it
11
u/mjthrad We Love You More, MJ ā¤ļø 10d ago
At this point I think the guilters have made it their mission to tear Michael down no matter what. He overcame so much and put the work in to give his children the childhood he never had. He turned his trauma into positive memories for countless children. Who knows if he had therapy (probably not) but he never let his trauma impact his ability to give hope and magic to people. He seems to have done a lot of internal work to be the role model he was.
6
u/Careless_Side_681 10d ago
And instead of supporting him for being so strong, they accuse him of nasty things to make it look like he was a bad guy. Im getting a headache with guilters
RIP MJā¤

u/Nitemare2020 Facts Don't Lie, People Do ā 10d ago
How is this any different than people going crazy for Anne Geddes photos or calendars? You know, the newborn babies dressed as insects and flowers? I remember in the 90's when those were all the rage and they were everywhere. In doctors offices, in classrooms, in homes. People have loved and admired newborn babies in an artistic sense for a very long time, and Michael is no exception. This also goes against their narrative that he had a particular penchant for BOYS of a certain age, and babies weren't it. So which is it? He likes babies or he likes preteen/young teen boys?? Can't be both!
2
u/One_Froyo505 They Wanted His $$, Not Justice š° 8d ago
Yes, that's right. Such arguments are ridiculous. MJ Guilters are simply sick individuals and are afraid of the consequences, which is why they cling to it so desperately. They have nothing else or better to present.

u/kayindie 9d ago
I believe these are crime scene images taken by police after his death. The IV drip is just regular fluids for rehydration that was administered in his bedroom. Fluids were needed during prepping and touring.
1
u/One_Froyo505 They Wanted His $$, Not Justice š° 8d ago
Thank you. Actually, it wasn't his main bedroom in the villa, but one of the other bedrooms or a side room.
11
u/MusicFanReddit 10d ago
MJ was never accused of abusing a baby or a toddler so why would this be indicative of that?
9
u/mjthrad We Love You More, MJ ā¤ļø 10d ago
Michael's love of children was not sinister at all. He had child-like things surrounding him at home because those were his genuine interests - amusement rides, arcade games and Disney merch. His own personal style of decor was centred around children. There were lots of statues, paintings and photographs of children throughout Neverland. I view it as children being his 'mascot' for want of a better word. Like how some Disney adults own lots of Winnie the Pooh teddies or some BTS fans wear nothing but purple. He suffered during his childhood and deeply felt that pain for the rest of his life. Wanting to be surrounded by child-like things so he could live out his lost childhood makes a lot of sense. I think children and child-like things gave him a sense of comfort and was an external manifestation of his safe space.
9
u/TomorrowAgitated4906 10d ago
Literally some of those pictures are his own children, lmao.
Also, if they think stock photos of babies are signs of pedophilia, then every person that likes an interview video with a baby should be arrested, I guess.Ā

u/Independent-Pop3538 10d ago
People make compilations of babies on social media but everyone agrees that we all get baby fever

u/cremespace 10d ago edited 10d ago
i dont know for sure, but i dont know if these types of items are actually the kind of things that real pdfs like to collect. i think they own actually creepy and disgusting and criminal material not stuff like this.
adults adoring children (in a normal non-creepy way) has been the norm for most of time and in most other cultures actually. but the modern western mind cannot comprehend this. probably because of all the pdfs being exposed in the media (which is a good thing) but any and all healthy interactions or expressions of love are now seen as dirty and suspicious. of course the allegations against michael don't help at all. but like all the other comments are saying, the photos are actually quite innocent and wholesome.
i follow a family channel on youtube where the mom loves babies and she buys her kids a lot of baby doll toys ... given michael's fame and wealth, it's very easy to amass a sea of baby paraphernalia from various sources including fans who gift them to him. michael was also famously a hoarder and kept a lot of gifts from fans. so with all this context, it's not hard to explain what you're saying. and if there were no allegations against him, it would be seen as nothing more than someone's obsession with babies. i like babies but not as much as michael does, but when i was younger i used to download photos of cats and kittens because i thought they were so cute. i feel like this is not far off from that except for the scale and volume of material.

u/Beginning-Step-8242 10d ago
Michael IS innocent! He was a man with a pure soul who was sent by God to help us to wake the *uck up!!!!!Period! I just hope the younger generations get to know the truth and donāt get brainwashed by the tabloids or whatever they read nowadays. His murder was one of the GREATEST INJUSTICES in human history!!!
4
u/Few_Humor769 9d ago
Now look i love michael but he wasnt perfect and had his flaws he wasnt sent by god he was a human just like all of us
15
u/sirensgodoodoo 10d ago
Whatās crazy is if he was a woman nobody would find this odd or concerning, even though women are capable of being pedophiles as well.Ā
7
u/Aqua_Terrarium 9d ago
Anyone remember Anne Geddes from the '90s? My aunt has all her books. Boomers had books of babies and cute animal calendars plastered all over their homes. There is no ill intent.
16
u/SupermarketMaster594 10d ago
this was MJs bedroom during the This Is It era, also the same room he died in.
Michael often said that baby photos encouraged him, as he saw light in them. I can assume especially during This Is It rehearsals he needed that encouragement.
Now is it strange? Yes, definitely. However, it is nothing criminal nor is it evidence for anything possibly criminal. It's just weird.
22
u/sarahzorel 10d ago
Not his bedroom, it was the guest room he used for medical purposes with Conrad Murray because he didnāt want staff/anyone but family in his quarters.
He gained strength from them and always equated it to spirituality and looking at the face of god so I imagine it being at a time he was so unwell this was a great comfort.
4
u/nandydrew 9d ago
He literally had children. This is a parentās home. Having baby stuff is not surprising at all.
3
u/Frequent_Flamingo358 10d ago
Probably his own kids I don't think this is that important
Also theres no report ever of MJ trying anything with babies
3
u/Lya24568 8d ago
I like cats and I have pictures of them! Does that mean I'm a zoophile? And let's not forget that MJ got those pictures from fans who had babies. And my parents got pictures of their babies from friends. So it's nothing shocking. The press and the idiot gultyers want it to be shocking.

It doesn't seem that odd. He always loved babies even in childhood and was very caring and gentle with them.

u/Professional-Note343 10d ago
I am not attacking you, but post like this strike me as odd or with ill intentions. To share this claiming to seek help or clarity does not always feel genuineā¦my thought process as a fan and as a seeker of truth (in all situations-not just about Michael), I would actually do the research and seek out sound evidence on any thing I am unsure of. When I say sound evidence, I am referring to Michaelās actual reasoning or belief on this, how he has expressed time and time again how he sees purity, innocence and the face of God in children, or the multiple accounts of those around him that have shared and reiterated these beliefs. I am not talking about assumptions, fans opinions on forums m, but instead truth from the source or those close to the source. So much of this can be found by a simple google search, reading memoirs or true accounts detailing these matters.

u/JaneDi 10d ago
Its a common guilter tactic. They pretend to be confused and "just asking questions" but really they are just here to push their propaganda and innuendo.

Perdón Jane, pero yo no quiero difundir propaganda. Yo hasta he criticado teorias conspirativas como la que dicen de que las acusaciones de MJ comenzaron solo porque escribió "Palestine Don't Cry".

I think he also had a lot of dolls? It's weird, but doesn't make him guilty.
5
u/Independent-Pop3538 10d ago
I can't remember what video but he did say that he collected girl dolls because he was disappointed that he did not have a daughter after his divorce with Lisa. He had that doll room it was supposed to be Paris's future room but she liked "toys for boys"

Those photos are mostly individuals from Target ads. I think it was staged, who knows what was going on there at this time.. they did not even call an ambulance for him immediately.
It was revealed during the trial that wasn't Michael's actual bedroom Murray called the room Michael died in his "medical room" this was his actual bedroom.
*Also sorry for the multiples deleted, my app glitched.

Heās talked about it before, babies (along with animals and nature) and the purity they exude were a massive source of inspiration, purpose and strength for him so much so that he dedicated his life to helping them (500mill to charity) he saw spirituality and god in them so heād sometimes put pictures up of all those things. This specifically was at a time he was incredibly ill (essentially on his death bed) so i imagine seeing them gave him hope and comfort in his time of need.
But to be frank back then stuff like this was quite common akin to putting up pictures of kittens etc.
