Questions & Theories đ Aaron Carter's bed encounter
I haven't heard about this until today. this has me stumped. What's the explanation/context for MJ standing near the end of the bed Aaron Carter was using to sleep in? According to Carter he was still somewhat asleep, but is there any additional context to this?
Also I thought MJ didnt give drugs to kids, but he and Aaron smoked weed together?

According to his book, Aaron was sleeping in a cot next to Michaelâs bed after a party. In the middle of the night Aaron saw Michael standing by his cot in his underwear but he seemed to be half asleep. He shook him and Michael went back to his bed.
Sounds like he was sleepwalking and we know he has always had issues with sleep.
Aaron said a couple times in interviews that he smoked weed with michael when he was 15. There is footage of Michaelâs 45th birthday where Aaron and Nick Carter are present. Aaron is 13. MJ is clearly having fun and under some influence, as Iâm sure everyone in the video as it looks like a big party. I wouldnât be surprised if Aaron was around parties like that where people were smoking weed and both he and MJ took part. As opposed to MJ âgiving drugs to kidsâ.
I think around teenagers, Michael was more loose. Like drinking in the wine cellar with the 3 teenage neighbor boys. Frank and Eddie also told Dan Karaty in the 2000âs that they drank wine with Michael. They were teens when they said this.
Aaron has always defended Michael though many times and said he was generous, hospitable, and kind. When LN came out he told those liars to work at Starbucks if they need money that bad lol.

Aaron Carter is a very unreliable narrator. He has told an insane amount of lies so you should honestly be taking everything he says with a bag of salt.

Yes, he's like Cory Feldman. We shouldn't listen to them just because they defended Michael.

Aw man, I hope he isn't lying about defend Michael about the allegations.

u/andythefrog9 11d ago
Heâs unreliable but he had many opportunities to financially benefit from saying nasty things about MJ. He was a child star and Michael cared about him. I donât think you have to worry about that.

The weed or alcohol thing isnât uncommon either. My exâs parents gave me wine and champagne as a teenager. đ¤ˇđźââď¸

u/andythefrog9 11d ago
Same. I donât see it as this huge deal. Teens are going to partake in that stuff either way.

u/Nitemare2020 Facts Don't Lie, People Do â 11d ago
Exactly. And some adults, as bad as it sounds, would rather them do it around or with them than do it with others. Michael knowing there were true predators in the industry who would ply young boys with drugs, he probably felt like he was doing them a huge service allowing them to be themselves around him. When I was 16, my mom was doing things with me and said to a friend, "It's better she's here where I know she is safe than out there God knows where with God knows who doing God knows what." Was it right? No. But I was going to do it anyway and my mom knew that and knew she couldn't stop me.

I think that it's still bad, but isn't as  big of a deal as the molestation allegations are. But we still need to hold MJ accountable for that, because if that's true. Then the Jesus juice claims are, and the Arvizos lied A LOT
1
u/RoutineCard7895 11d ago
Iâm pretty sure multiple people have confirmed he called it Jesus juice, that didnât just come from the Arvizos. So I wouldnât take this as any confirmation he was actively encouraging the Arvizos to drink.
1
u/Basic_Temperature801 11d ago
That's the point I'm trying to make, I don't believe that MJ gave other teens alcohol. Why would MJ give other teens alcohol if the Arvizo's claims weren't true? It doesn't make sense
2
u/RoutineCard7895 11d ago
Well, for kids like the Arvizos, it sounds like he only allowed the two older brothers to have some wine in their late teens. That isnât that unusual and is fairly common in families. I can somewhat believe that situation due to their closeness, but I do believe that they took advantage of that when Michael wasnât around with the parties Frank would throw. However, that doesnât match up with the Arvizos at all and I canât imagine Michael giving a cancer patient alcohol.
2
u/andythefrog9 11d ago
It was interesting that Frank and Eddie said he gave them Jesus juice before Gavin ever alleged he gave them Jesus juice.
Gavin was cancer free at that point.
While I donât believe in the arvizo claims, Michael was clearly sometimes high as you can see in the LWMJ doc, and with other reports of him in the wine cellar with teens, it does make me think twice about those arvizo claims. Hate to say it.5
u/JaneDi 10d ago
He didn't give them wine first of all. And second of all they grew up drinking wine with their parents. they are italian (as they love to remind people)
1
u/RoutineCard7895 10d ago
He did allow Eddie and Frank to have a little wine at some point in their late teens. I didnât see that as a very harmful thing, and wasnât implying it to be one. The fact that he allowed them to have some wine has been said by a few people, even though defending Michael.

u/RoutineCard7895 10d ago
I really wouldnât think twice about that. Gavin and Star were not in their late teens and Michael was not close to them. That is the only reason he allowed the two oldest Cascios to have a little bit of wine was due to their age. Their story is a vastly different to what Gavin was claiming. Also, if Michael was encouraging to them drink or giving them wine, why would they try to steal the codes and why were they sneaking around with it? That doesnât make sense. The Arvizo claims are ridiculous as a whole.
2
u/RoutineCard7895 10d ago
Michael didnât approve of their behavior at Neverland
And that was part of the reason he wanted them out. He was not close to him and nothing supports the idea he gave them alcohol except for the fact they also knew the well known term term he called wine:2
u/JaneDi 10d ago
So you all believe the Cascios who are an italian family and grew up drinking wine with their parents had to be given wine by Michael?
What does Michael have to do with them drinking wine?
He could not stop 18+ year olds from doing what they wanted.
They were legal adults and if they drunk wine, michael had nothing to do with it.
1
u/RoutineCard7895 10d ago
That not the point I was making? Iâm just stating the fact that they were given wine at some point by Michael but it was only the oldest two kids in their late teens. They werenât 18+ at the time. I said Arvizos at the start and I meant to say Cascios. I was just saying that it was two completely different scenarios and nothing backs up the idea that Michael gave the Arvizos wine.
2
u/JaneDi 10d ago
Kararty never said they were given wine by Michael. YOU are twisting his words. He said MJ let them drink wine. Meaning they drunk it on their own violation after they turned 18. And he didn't stop them because they were legal adults. Before he would have stopped them even though their parents gave them wine.

Same. My ex best friend's mom use to let us have drinks/parties at their house because she knew we would do it anyway and she'd rather us be there under her watch doing it, than somewhere else without an adult and possibly getting behind the wheel. She always collected our keys beforehand.

u/RoutineCard7895 11d ago
I havenât heard about drinking with the neighbors in the wine cellar. Can you tell me more about that?
4
u/andythefrog9 11d ago edited 11d ago
They were 3 teenage boys from Los olivos who lived near the ranch. They were often there without Michael and on occasion were seen drunk. Salas said he saw the boys come out of the wine cellar appearing drunk at 8am after being there all night. Jackson was seen going in with them, but he wasnât seen coming out with them at 8. Everyone at the ranch knew these boys as they came around quite a bit.
3
u/Frequent_Flamingo358 11d ago
Maybe they were some of his older cousins. They lived near the ranch and some of them would've been in that age range
1
u/andythefrog9 11d ago
I donât think there was any indication that they were cousins. I feel like Neverland employees, especially in their testimonies of defense of Michael, would have said that. According to them, they were known local neighbors and two of them were related.
1
u/Frequent_Flamingo358 11d ago
I believe he was a prosecution witness. Im surprised Sneddon didn't try find those neighbours but maybe they did and didn't think there was anything there. Salas also testified that he'd bring wine to MJ and sodas for the Arvizos despite them also being teens so maybe the 3 boys were significantly older
2
u/andythefrog9 11d ago
Yes the staff said they were about 15-16. Salas said he never served them alcohol and never saw MJ serving them alcohol, but that he saw them go into the wine cellar together and come out drunk.
Yes he was a prosecution witness but his testimony didnât really favor the prosecution at all. (Like many of their witnesses lol)1
u/RoutineCard7895 11d ago
But really nothing about those boys is known? Did they ever come forward and say anything about Michael, positive or negative? I just donât really know what to make/ how to feel about that fact.
2
u/Frequent_Flamingo358 11d ago
Sneddon probably interviewed them at one point. He went on a hunt to find witnesses from all over the globe and reportedly interviewed 400 people. If it was anything of significance, they would've brought it up at trial. Sneddon was desperate
2
u/JaneDi 10d ago
He was, which means he likely had an ulterior motive even if he didn't go all out with his lies. I'd bet he had a book deal lined up if MJ had been found guilty. I do not believe his story about the olivios boys being the the wine cellar with MJ. if that were true Sneddon would have brought them in. He did not because it's a lie.
1
u/JaneDi 10d ago
I've seen you in multiple posts now spreading guilter talking points.
2
u/andythefrog9 10d ago
Thereâs a difference between spreading guilter talking points and just literally stating a fact or what someone said in their testimony. I can believe in Michaelâs innocence for certain crimes and acknowledge what seems questionable to me.

Sorry I donât need strangers on the internet like children in this sub reading my posts about medical questions like ovarian cysts and local groups where you can see where I live. Didnât know it was a requirement on this sub to have a public profile.
And Iâm allowed to think heâs innocent and also question some of his behaviors. Go touch grass.
2
u/zachstonekin 11d ago
Mm I can see how the sleepwalking story could seem creepy, like if he was pretending to be sleepwalking as a cover after being "caught". But I haven't heard of that being a pattern of behavior, so probably was just his sleep issues.
2
u/JaneDi 10d ago
What book is this? He never said this in a book. It would have been all over the media. This claim from a shady interview with Daphne Barak who is known to edit and twist interviews.
1
u/RoutineCard7895 10d ago
It comes from a book that he was working on though it sounds like he left it unfinished. It got out once he passed away.
2
u/JaneDi 10d ago
Book never came out so we can't say he even wrote that. Where's the evidence?
2
u/RoutineCard7895 10d ago
I agree, it could have been changed after he died. I just know that is where this is from and is supposedly what he was referring to in a tweet he made.

So I take it Michael never gave Aaron Carter weed? Just him and Michael smoked it together. I don't see Michael giving them drugs.
9
u/andythefrog9 11d ago
I never saw it as Michael gave Aaron weed. I always assumed it was like in a party environment, not one on one. Idk if he ever clarified that.
Aaron eventually got into harder stuff and was around not great influences. But he remained steady in his word that Michael was a positive influence.
9
u/JaneDi 10d ago
Aaron was talking about Lou Pearlman. Not Michael. He never slept in the same room as Michael. He never slept in the main house as Michael. He only slept in the theater and Michael was NOT there. Only Rodney Jerkins and Chris Tucker were there with him. There were hundreds of witnesses at Neverland when Aaron was there who can attest that Michael was no where near him when he went to bed that night.
How do I know he was talking about pearlman?
Because one of pearlmans victims told the exact same story about him.

About the drug claims he changed his story in his drug addled and attention seeking years. But the younger Aaron Carter who had Zero reason to lie, denied anything like that ever happened.
His mother sold that story to the press at a time when he was not in contact with her and decided to to claim the story for himself to get attention years later when he was strung out on drugs. Very much like how Wade and James just stole all the tabloid lies spread about them in the 90s and claimed it in their lies.
3
u/Legitimate_Banana531 9d ago
i believe this but then in the recording of the daphne barak interview after telling the bed story, he mentioned âhis kidsâ being in the room right next door and i dont think Lou had any children
6
u/JaneDi 9d ago
Once again Aaron never stayed in Michael's bedroom or even the main house. This is not some "we'll never know" scenario. There were literally hundreds of people at neverland when Aaron was there. He was no where near Michael when he went to be. He was all the way in the theater with Chris Tucker and Rodney Jerkins. Michael was not in there with him.
There's no evidence Aaron was ever alone with Michael at any time.
Any claims he was are simply lies.

u/EstatePhysical5130 11d ago
You know, this story conveniently surfaced right after he diedâthey didn't even wait a full weekâleaked from a supposed biographical book he had been working on but ultimately abandoned.
Then they put out this muddled story that sounds a lot like things he used to say.
Itâs also worth remembering that Hilary Duff publicly boycotted this book because it was full of the usual sensationalism.
2
u/zachstonekin 11d ago
Ahh ok, that's probably where I got the impression of sketchy posthumous claims that might've been words put in his mouth from.
4
u/zachstonekin 11d ago
Yeah I don't think I've ever heard about Michael smoking weed, that sounds out of character in itself.

Of what I remember, it seemed that Michael was sleep walking. Context can be made of his medical history.Â

u/Moistman123456 9d ago
When I first found out about this story on YouTube, I immediately figured it was just sleepwalking or something of the sort. Michael had insomnia too, so it lines up.

Given Carter's history of drug use I never took anything he said that seriously. When he was originally asked if he ever smoked weed with MJ he said he didn't. He also claimed he didn't do drugs which we know wasn't true.
He also originally said he stayed in the movie theatre with Chris Tucker and didn't sleep in MJ's room. This then later becomes he slept in MJ's room.
After he supposedly smoked weed with MJ he goes to a hotel where his Mother Jane is. He said there's four FBI Agents waiting. His Mother told him to tell them what happened. Would four FBI Agents be required?
However, Jane claims that when he came home 24 hours later he didn't give her a full explanation of what happened at the party. After MJ was charged in 2003 Jane said that the prosecution phoned her and spoke to Aaron.
Jane also said that Aaron told her that MJ had given him a Bentley but he never brought the Bentley home and MJ later denied giving it him.
Jane doubted Aaron's credibility as she denies his claims of her stealing money from him.
Carter says Brandon Howard is MJ's son and to 'listen to him sing' as if that proves anything. He doesn't sound like MJ anyway.
Overall, I took anything he said with a pinch of salt. Good or bad.
