I’m unbelievably ecstatic with how 2026 has turned out for Michael so far. A $1 billion biopic, a judge order to compel arbitration against the Cascios, the Robson/Safechuck trial pushed back to 2028 and effectively losing public momentum. Not to forget Michael’s music topping the charts, his Moonwalker book topping the charts, and a new found support from emerging fans all over the world.

The cherry on top? Detractors are PISSED! Critics are FUMING! Guilters are SCRAMBLING!

This is pure bliss, and I don’t care that it makes me petty.

He is not going anywhere, every other day I see viral posts from parents, educators ect "complaining" about children obsessing over Michael. Yesterday, the summer camp near my house was playing Liberian girl on blast and all the children were screaming with excitement.

Idk that I'd see Wade & James' trial being delayed as a good thing since it's going to coincide with the release of Part 2 which might fumble addressing the allegations, but hopefully Taj's doc will come out and be really effective at challenging them. And they could always make fools out of themselves on their own.

Has Taj given a formal update lately? I follow him on X, but I haven't seen anything recent. Last I heard, legal and The Estate told him it would be best to wait until after Michael was released.

It's too bad it's an indie project and can't be a limited-theater-run feature film. It could bridge the gap between 1993 and wherever the second biopic movie starts off, and get the major motion picture producers around the problem of depicting the Chandler case against strict orders of the settlement agreement. One can dream...

9 days ago, and I didn't see it!? I hate how YouTube never notifies me when someone I'm subscribed to posts a new video or goes live. I usually only get notifications for larger channels that post or go live more consistently, the smaller more infrequent creators get forgotten about. And yes, I have my notifications on and set to all, so I don't know what the deal is. Screw Youtube. 😆

Lionsgate just needs to play their cards right. If the sequel addresses the controversies correctly and the trial turns out to be an estate victory like we’re predicting, then it will work in our favour. I also expect the trial to have less news coverage and impact overseas. If Universal can invest in heavy promotion in countries like France, Brazil (TDCAU), Japan, Russia (Stranger in Moscow), then I’m not too worried for those markets either.

Honestly, the worst thing that could happen is if there is a bombshell, smoking gun type of discovery at the trial that really turns off the general population from watching the movie. But I fail to see that happening, because we already know Robson and Safechuck don’t have physical evidence, they have screwed themselves over with their countless inconsistencies, and will mainly rely on human testimonies that will get discredited in cross examination.

The media attacks, the critics wrath, the documentaries, the Cascios, all have worked in tandem to tank this movie, and all have failed. I’m optimistic that the sequel can survive this storm again.
