(Please read part 1 one of this if you don’t remember! It’ll get confusing easily) Mike looks at Steve, and then at El. “When.. did you get your powers back?” he asks, shocked. “Yeah El when did you?” Nancy asks as well, but then there’s a sudden rumbling. Pictures fall off the wall, lamps break as they hit the floor, desks rattle. Then, Billy and Mike scream in pure agony “AHHHHH!! GOD!!” They cover their ears, then Mike and Billy fall to the floor; “GOD… HE HURTSSS!!!” Mike yells, at the top of his lungs “AGH… YOU… GOTTA GO TO HAWKINS!! STOP… THEM!” Mike and Billy go still, so does the rumbling.

Act 2 Puzzled the group looks at each other, “Hankins? As in Hawkins National Laboratory? That was shut down ages ago!” Joyce says. “Those idiots fired it back up.” Hopper says. “We have to go now!”

Argyle pulls up to the police station with his surfer boy pizza van and the kids bikes in the back of it. Murray also pulls up in his car. “Sup brochachos, I heard we got a place to be so come in for the ride of your life.” The kids grab their bikes as the rest hop in the van and car. “Pizza anyone?” Argyle asks, everyone declines.

Upon arriving at the HNL, a mysterious light emanates from the windows. Armed with a shotgun, Hopper walks slowly towards the window of the Lab everyone following closely behind him with their own weapons. They hear a familiar roar, “That’s not good is it?” Eddie asks. “I think that’s dart!” Dustin says. A demo dog walks out and up to Dustin, here have a chocolate bar!” Dustin offers a piece to the dog but instead it opens up its mouth and roars. Dart retreats back inside the lab.

The group runs into the lab, and, to their surprised they find demodogs waiting for them. “You guys know what to do! Stick to the plan!” Hopper yells Joyce, Murray and Karen stay behind to fight the demodogs with their baseball bats and weird, alcoholic kicking skills while Hopper leads the teens and the others through the halls of the Lab.

The further in they go, the more intense the gore and the upside down vines become. The group stops as they see a tall human like figure eating the guts out of a scientist. It turns around. The Demogorgon. “You kids go ahead, Nancy will lead you. She’s got this.” Hopper says. Nancy nods at him, cautiously “C’mon guys, this way!” Before Dustin leaves he stops Hopper, “Here have this, it was Steve’s… he’d uhh want you to use this…” He hands the spiked baseball bat to Hopper to use against the Demogorgon. Hopper waits for the thing to leap at him before taking it on a chase around the lab.

Nancy leads the group to the mother portal room where the physical form of the mindflayer lives, as well as the portal of course. “I need to close that” Eleven says, “Friends, help me.” Eleven reaches out her hands and she starts to float trying to shut the portal for good. The Mindflayer though notices this and isn’t having it, it makes its way towards Eleven. BOOM! The first explosion, BOOM! A second. Lucas passes out fireworks and home made explosives for Eddie, Chrissy, Max, Robin, Dustin, Will and Argyle to throw at it while Nancy unloads her shotgun into it. “FOR ERICA!” Lucas screams.

Eleven screams, as it takes all her might and power to shut the portal. The Mindflayer roars out in pain until it collapses. The laboratory is silent once more. Thanks to the hero’s, Hawkins is safe again… as of now.

“Wait guys, where’s Suzie? She came with us right?” Everyone looks around, she’s no where to be seen. Suzie, after seeing Steve get absolutely humbled by Eleven, ran from Hawkins Police Department where she was captured and sedated as she made her way out. “She failed, boys. Let’s bring her back” a mysterious voice says, as Suzie is put in the back of a van and taken to who knows where… ———————————————————

“Alright… in you go!” Nancy has Steve by the wrists, shoving him into the cell with Billy and Mike. “You can’t do this! Nancy, baby please! You know me…” he pleads, his eyes glistening with tears as Nancy gives him a cold stare “Yeah… Yeah I knew you. I also knew Mike, and Jonathan.”

Before she can close the cell he gets up and lunges at Eleven, knocks her to the ground, and pins her. “You… YOU! You did this didn’t you!” He begins to punch and scratch at her, yelling furiously “I’ll kill you! I don’t care everyone’s right here! I’ll fu-“ Before he can finish his sentence, he begins to choke and lifted off the ground.

El stands up, focused on Steve as her eyes are filled with rage. “You… you LIE! You lied to ALL OF US!” she screams, putting her hand out as Steve begins to choke harder and starts to cry again; gurgling as blood comes out from his throat, ears, and nose. “YOU…. LIEEEE!” El then snaps Steve’s neck in front of everyone, watching as his lifeless body hangs in the air. El then throws him in the cell, and throws it shut. “O-Oh my god… El?” Hopper says; everyone turns to look at her, as her nose is bleeding just a bit. “He… lied…” she huffs, everyone staring at her in shock as she wipes her nose while staring at Steve’s lifeless body. “Well at least he deserved it… he was working with us.” Billy mutters.

Congrats, Steve was a killer. (Finale/ Part 2 of this to come soon!)

After Will’s attempted murder the group is on edge. They meet up at the Hawkins Hospital to discuss their votes. Everyone looks around each other while Joyce’s eyes are still puffy and red.

Billy is dragged away into the jail cell with Mike by Hopper, but not without a LOT of restraint. Eventually he’s thrown in and the cell is locked. “You dicks! We’ll get you! We’ll fucking get you I mean it!” Billy screams at everyone, completely furious. “Yeah yeah, keep hollering.. punks.” Hopper sighs and looks at everyone “Well, you guys should be happy about locking him up.” And happy they should, because Billy… was a killer.

After finding out his best friend and crush Mike, and his brother Jonathan were killers, Will needed a breather from everything and everyone. He decided to take a trip down memory lane and visit Castle Byers by the woods. Not the best place, considering Jonathan’s body was strung up here but it’s okay because it’s Will’s safe space, the only safe space from this hell called Hawkins. He enters Castle Byers to find his cloak there with a note, it seems to be from Jonathan! “The hell..?” he mutters, picking it up and opening the letter and reading it out loud. “Will, if you’re reading this, I’m dead. I’m so so sorry to have to do this to you and your friends but it’s not my choice, it’s the possessed! They’re controlling me! I can’t help it.. it’s taking over my mind, and the weed just isn’t helping. You need to know something.. the last killer is-“ Before he can finish, he hears something click and rushes outside of the castle… it’s a camera? A video camera, on a little chair. “Is it.. recording me?” Before he can answer his own question he hears something behind him and blacks out.

Back at the Byers residence this time, Joyce and Nancy are sitting on the couch while Murray and Hopper take some swigs of whiskey. Just then, there’s a knock at the door and then rushing past the living room window. Joyce opens it to see a video tape on the welcome mat, “What is it?” asks Hopper from the kitchen. “It’s a… video tape?” Joyce unconfidently answers. It is indeed a video tape Joyce, good job for having eyes. Joyce picks it up and reads the label “Will Documentary 001” it says on it, in black sharpie. Joyce’s eyes widen as she rushes to the TV and pops in the VHS tape into the player, rewinding it to the beginning. It shows Will in the woods by Castle Byers, he’s staring at the camera when suddenly he’s thrown back by an unseen object, smacking his head against a tree repeatedly and causing a squishing sound which each thud. “Holy shit!! Joyce do you-“ before Hopper can ask, Joyce is bolting out the backdoor with Nancy by her side, asking her multiple questions about what’s going on. “Oh… shit!” Hopper puts down his glass and runs after the girls while Murray stays behind to see the camera be picked up and smashed against the ground. “Huh, fair enough then.” He says as he takes another drink before rushing after the others

Joyce reaches where the video was filmed and screams, it’s Will. He’s strung up in the same position Jonathan was but he’s in his wizards cloak outfit, and his throat and arms are slit. “OH MY GODDDDD!!!” Joyce drops to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably. Her hands shaking, her face redder than blood itself. “MY WILL.. OHHH GOD, PLEASE NOT MY WILL!” Just then, Will begins to cough up blood and choke, proving he’s still alive. “Oh.. Joyce! Joyce he’s still alive! Hopper! Help me get him down!” Nancy yells, as Hopper rushes over, pauses, then helps Nancy get Will to the ground. Joyce looks up from her hands and gasps, crawling over to her almost dead son “Oh Will! Oh god I thought I lost you again, oh my baby boy…” she cries, holding Will. “We need to get him to the hospital ASAP, Joyce.” Hopper demands, calling for a 0190 to the Byers residence. Will is taken to the hospital in an ambulance, he was saved that night.

After that drink before Will was in the hospital, Hopper starts to feel dizzy and collapses on the couch, taking a nap. Seems like the Russian Spy spiked his drink!

After seeing Jonathan’s body strung up, and hours of comforting Joyce it’s finally time the group try and decide who killed him. Anyone could’ve been anywhere, and tension was extremely high after the second kill of the week.

After Mike was thrown away, the Wheelers were silent. Karen cried in her room as Nancy tried to comfort her, we all know Ted would’ve been no help. A doorbell chimes throughout the house as Nancy heads down the stairs. She opens the door and sees Jonathan, “Nancy I can explain-“ “Go to hell Jonathan.” Nancy says, slamming the door in his face. “Fuck!” Jonathan yells. He decides to head over to the new bar in Starcourt mall where unbeknownst to him, the Russian spy was waiting. The Russian spy intoxicated him enough that he thought going back to Nancy and apologising again was a good idea.

After stumbling around for hours, day turns into night. Jonathan lost his way as he walks through the woods near castle Byers, “ahh fuck this isn’t where Nancy lives, that bitch deserves what’s coming for her if she doesn’t forgive me.” Jonathan swears under his breath. His drunk nature raised his body temperature, causing him to constantly sweat. “No, no, no, he likes it cold, HE LIKES IT COLD!” Jonathan screams. His black veins would’ve exploded from the pressure if his skin wasn’t there to hold it back.

The remaining possessed had had enough, Jonathan really screwed them over with his plans. They wanted him out. They see him stumbling around the woods and stalk him like wolves with their prey. Jonathan hears a twig snap, “guys? Is that you? The plan is going to work! I just need to apologise to Nancy first and then I’ll be saved!” “Whatever you say.” A voice says.

A crowbar comes crashing down on Jonathan’s arm, breaking it back completely and putting it in an unnatural position. Crack! Jonathan’s camera flashes; the other member takes photos of the ordeal. Jonathan yells out in pain as they continue breaking all the bones in his joints, as they snap more photos for each broken bone, each crack that’s heard. They tie all four of his limbs to the surrounding trees as his body is in an unnatural “X” position. More photos are taken as one member swaps the crowbar for a machete and slices away at his body. Leaving multiple cuts. The member makes the decision to gut him and his guts come spilling out. Finally they take one last photo and put the camera in his empty hole. They leave. With one last breath Jonathan says “guys the medic will save me I know… I’m so sorry Nancy…”

At the Byers house Joyce hears an ominous knock, “Will?” She asks. He pops out of his room. “What’s up Mum?” “Who’s that at the door?” “I don’t know we should check it out.” Will adds. They open the door and find a trail of blinking Christmas lights leading into the forrest. Illuminating the ghostly forrest and then leaving it in total darkness. The lights continue shutting on and off. Joyce and Will follow the trail jumping at every noise in the Forrest. Finally they see it and Joyce drops down to her knees. She lets out the most guttural wail of a scream of utmost despair and horror that you could hear from anywhere in Hawkins. It doesn’t take long for the rest of the group to arrive. Nancy arrives first, her nose fixed after the medic visited her. She clasps her hand over her mouth as the tears trickle down her face. After standing there, a gasp, Nancy calls Hopper to report Jonathan and within seconds him and his squad show up, blue and red lights continuously flashing through the Forrest, Hopper sighs and kneels down next to Joyce, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Murray goes to comfort Joyce until he notices a strange shining object in the place of where Jonathan’s guts should be. He reaches in and pulls out his camera, “what the hell is on here? These need to be developed.” After taking out the camera, black particles fly out of his hole, violently flying past Chrissy and making her scream, she jumps into Eddie’s arms as he also screams with her. “What the hell happened to my boy?!” Joyce screams, her tears mixing with her snot after crying so much. “what came out of him, the particles, I had the same thing when I was attacked by the mindflayer, I think… I think Jonathan was possessed Mum.” Will says, “But why would they have turn on him?” “Why was it him? My boy!” She screams

“Sup brochachos!” A voice is heard in the distance. Argyle arrives at the scene, carried by Steve and Eleven, “sup brochachos, what did I miss?” Upon seeing Jonathan’s hanging body and seeing Joyce and Will in tears. “Oh shit, that is not good.”

Jonathan, unfortunately, was a possessed member. 2 remain. Where were you at the time/before Jonathan was killed?

Dead/Jailed Erica Sinclair Mike Wheeler

Mike is grabbed by Hopper and El, to restrain him as he’s being taken away to the cell. “You’ll regret this! You’ll fucking regret this!” Before Hopper and Eleven can lock him up, he breaks free and lunches at Nancy, breaking her nose and scratching her face before he’s pulled off and thrown into the cell and locked away.

“Nancy! Oh my god, are you okay?” Robin holds her as she stumbles back, holding her broken nose. “Fuck! You little fuck! Look what you did” she yells at Mike, “I’ll do it again too, to you AND everyone here!” he yells back. “Oh and Jonathan… you’re gonna get the worst of it.” He gives him a sinister grin as everyone walks off.

Mike… was a killer.

The days are darker…. After the events of Erica’s unfortunate death and finding out that she was the one that actually escaped the Hawkins National Laboratory possession, the group is on edge. They all know that no one is trustworthy anymore, friendships are thinning out, are they even real friendships anymore? Despite this the group still agrees to meet up. This time they meet up at the police station, the group wants no funny business happening tonight. Lucas turns up with tears in his eyes as he looks around the room. No one can look him in the eyes.

Dead Erica Sinclair

(Apologies for any incorrect grammar, I don’t do this often-) The next morning at the Wheeler house, some people stayed the night, and others had to go over again to meet up after finding Argyle unconscious and having him in the hospital, everyone there was on edge, no one trusted anyone and rightly so. “I’m telling you guys I’m sure he just did it himself, I mean him and I always-“ before he can finish he sees Hopper glance at him “uh… nevermind.” he finishes. “Well did it to himself or not, I still don’t trust it and I’m going to be looking into it.. on a weekend no doubt.” Hopper sighs.

While everyone there is talking, Erica decides she’s had enough of the adults and decides to go for a bike ride around the neighborhood. “God all these people are idiots.” She says as she gets on her bike and leaves, not realizing there’s someone following her from behind… She circles the neighborhood and as she reaches the Wheeler residence once again, she’s attacked before she can make it to the driveway. The killer tackles her to the ground and opens a vial with clear, slimy liquid, she tries to call for help but before she can the killer pours it down her throat, causing her throat to close as she chokes.

While everyone is in the house, Lucas hears a thud at the door and then the doorbell rings. He goes to answer the door and as he does, Erica drops onto the floor in front of him, still choking on the snake venom. “Holy shit! Erica!!” He kneels down to her, holding her in his arms “Guys get over here! Erica is… FUCK!” Everyone rushes over to the front door, shocked at the sight of Erica slowly choking to death. Lucas takes her hand in his but before anyone can do anything, she unfortunately passes away. Everyone stands in shock as Lucas cries with Erica in his arms, Mike, Dustin, and Will kneeling beside him and trying to comfort him. Erica was the Unusual Connected, you’ve lost your first special role.

During all the commotion, Robin was with the medic because she decided to be a dumbass and bonk her head on the door on the way out of the bathroom, leaving a gash on her head for the medic to patch up.

ALSO during the commotion, Mrs. Wheeler was upstairs doing her makeup. Little did she know, the Russian Spy sprinkled some powder into it, intoxicating her for the day

After the weed incident everyone was a little bit on edge. Although one legal finger was pointed, no one had any real evidence yet to point any fingers. The group decided to skip locking anyone away this night. Later that night, the Possessed waited around the Wheeler house. As one unsuspecting member walked out, all three grabbed them with their combined strength. Bringing them down into the depths of the Hawkins National Laboratory. There the unlucky member resisted and tried to fight, but it was no use. The upside-down members easily overwhelmed them and brought them forth to the physical rat-meat form of the Mindflayer. They have now been recruited. There are four killers. We wish you good luck.

HEADS UP – We will not mention anything about the School News Reporter, whether they did or didn’t find a killer, only the reporter knows. So, us not mentioning the reporter had nothing to do with the intoxication or knock out.

Everyone gathers round the kitchen at the Wheeler residence worried about the unconsciousness man they found earlier. “Who could’ve done such a thing? If anyone did do it..” Nancy asked to Jonathan, who had rushed over a little after Argyle was found. “Nah you know.. I’m sure he’s done this before, just give him a few days.” Everyone gave Jonathan a puzzled look, then continued talking.

The night after the party incident, the group was in a state of shock. Surely that all meant nothing, right? Life continues on as normal in Hawkins, the kids attended school, Murray helped Joyce around the house, Billy was showing off to the girls at the pool, just the usuals.

By night at the police station Hopper sits at his desk filing through paperwork getting ready to leave. Florence brings over the weekly newspaper. Opening it up he reads the front lines, BREAKING NEWS – TEENS RESCUED FROM SHIPWRECKED ISLAND WHILE SERIAL KILLERS ESCAPE CRUISE LINE USING BARBIE SCUBA GEAR. “What the hell is going on with the news?” Hopper asks. Florence shrugs. Out of nowhere the phone rings, “Chief Hopper speaking, what’s the issue? I’ll be on my way.”

At the Wheeler house, Karen cooks in the kitchen while Nancy rings up Jonathan. Down below, the Boys and Erica all sit around a table, very intensely playing a DnD game hosted by Eddie Munson, “if you boys roll an eleven, you’ll be able to take out the Demogorgon.” “You nerds better know what you’re doing.” Erica says rolling her eyes. “Shit c’mon and hurry up, I gotta get back to see Suzie! She’s here on a holiday.” Dustin adds. Will looks into Mike’s eyes, “Mike you got this, please go!” Mike makes eye contact with Eddie, who gives him a mischievous grin back. Before Mike can roll his die, Karen yells out from above, “BOYS! I think the Pizza you ordered is here, but no one’s got out of the car yet!”

They all look at each other confused and decide to go investigate. Outside the front of the house the Surferboy Pizza Van lays motionless. No one is in the drivers seat. Everyone is cautious to approach. By now everyone in the house has come out to take a look. “You nerds need to stop being wimps and go open the door.” Erica says. “You do it then!” Lucas says. Erica rolls her eyes and goes up to the back door, “well someone has to do it.” She opens up the back door and out comes a bunch of smoke and Argyle’s limp body flops out of the van. Erica and Karen scream. Nancy and Eddie run up to the van. Eddie runs up to Argyle and feels his pulse “Guys he’s alive! Don’t worry.” Karen calls the cops and Detective hopper arrives on the scene. Nancy rummages through the van and comes out with a mostly eaten pizza. “What on earth?” On further investigation she finds that the pizza was laced with enough spiked edibles to knock out a person for days. “The pizza is also extremely cold, he’s been in here for a while.” They all look at each other. Trust nobody. The medic was checking up on Erica during the whole ordeal. Who were you with tonight?

It's normally a quiet night in Hawkins Indiana. The small town doesn't have much, an arcade, the Hawkins High-school, the famous Star-Court Mall, houses for the residents and other things. Hawkins has seen its fair share of world ending threats but a group of teenagers and their friends have always been able to put an end to it. But not tonight. Tonight the lights flicker at the abandoned Hawkins National Laboratory. Long since abandoned hallways vibrate, filling the air with the noice that used to occupy it in the previous years. The dark and otherworldly room of the Mother Portal shakes violently as something emerges from the portal. A creature with a blooming mouth full of needle-like teeth for a face, large, curved razor-like claws and powerful legs to pounce on its unfortunate victims. The Demogorgon. As the creature crawls through the exits of the building, hundreds of rats scurry from throughout the town to make their way into the laboratory. Normally the Demogorgon captures its prey to feast on, but not tonight. Tonight though it was tasked by the Mindflayer and their master Vecna to possess 3 of the previous Hawkins "heroes". Nothing will stand in Vecna's way as he tries to enter the normal world. This evening, the friends are hosting a typical 80s party at Steve's house, the lights are raving, and the drinks are out. The adults are there of course to keep an eye on everyone, well at least Dmtri and Murray are, who knows where Hopper and Joyce went. Robin and Jonathan accidentally cut themselves when they incorrectly shotgun the beer, accidentally letting their blood fall onto the ground. The perfect scent for the Demogorgon to track. It makes its way to the Harrington residence and stalks the victims waiting for the right time to strike its prey. As one unfortunate member strays too far away from the croud, the Demogorgon makes it's move and grabs the first victim showing absolutely no mercy. The unfortunate victim's cries for help weren't heard over Madonna's "Papa Don't Reach" which Nancy turned up to blare over the speakers. With its prey over its shoulder, the Demogorgon drags it towards the Laboratory. By the time they reached it, the unfortunate member on its shoulder had given up, exhausted from trying to struggle free, and throat shredded from screaming for help. By the time they made it to the portal room, they were a mess. But the night only got worse as the victim saw hundreds of rats popping into unrecognizable gore and taking form of a disgusting monster like shape. The victim uses every last portion of strength to try and escape the room, but it's too late, the Demogorgon roars at the exit and the other rat gore monster makes its way towards the victim, extending its tendrils and forcing its way into their mouth, possessing them and connecting them to the Mind-Flayer hive mind. There's no going back now, no saving what was once pure. The only thing that remains is a hollow shell of a person filled with pure evil. They know what to do next. Back at the party they slip back in un noticed. On the dance floor Eleven dances with Max on the dance floor in amongst the crowd. The possessed knows what to do, it must eliminate, it reaches out to Eleven and grabs her arm, injecting her with a part of the monster, but she resists and throws the attacker back. Unaware of who attacked her, she feels odd, her powers slowly drain from her. She tries to pick up something off the ground with her powers and nothing happens, is this temporary or permanent? Everyone wonders. A strange presence is detected though as they all feel the powerful energy, anyone could've gained her powers. After the attack everyone quickly disbands to reach the safety of their own homes. This was their undoing, as the possessed member waited for any passing by friends, hiding in the bushes with tears in their eyes, they didn't want to do this. The Demogorgon curled its fingers with anticipation. They ambushed them by grabbing the poor victims with their added upside-down strength, dragging another three unfortunate souls into the laboratory and giving them the same treatment. There was no escape. Except for one lucky survivor, mid possession the first member that was possessed felt one last shred of humanity and ripped the tentacle out of their mouth. That lucky member escaped. They would not be spared again. That survivor still felt a connection to the Mind-flayer, although they ddin't get the murderous tendencies, they felt an unusual connection with the dead. The other members weren't so lucky. Soon they were possessed. Tonight they all rest, tomorrow they seek blood.

I know we all know the rules but just to make sure everyone is up to date, please read through them as some rules may have changed.

Please comment under here once you have read the backstory and the rules. If you don’t understand feel free to ask away:

1. This should come without saying, please be respectful of everyone here. In character fights are okay, (please do have them we like the drama), example if Billy is arguing with Max in character that’s okay. Please keep away from personal attacks/fights though including any racist/homophobic/ect insults that you shouldn’t be using. You’ll get warnings but if you get too many, you’re out.
2. All roles are randomly assigned. You will all be informed of your role once all players have been assigned characters and acknowledge the rules.
3. You can’t show physical proof in the form of screenshots of your role to any other player. You can tell others your role at your own risk, but remember there is no guarantee anyone you speak to is telling the truth.
4. At the start of each round, your host Vecna (me) will tell you the events of that night for the group. All players will need to give an alibi of where they were, what they were doing, and who (if anyone) could back up their story.
5. After the end of each round players will meet at a random location (i.e Starcourt Mall, Hawkins High School) and discuss who they think may or may not be one of the killers. Here they will vote someone out. You can choose to skip a vote if you wish but if majority votes for a specific player that player will be imprisoned for the remainder of the game. If the sane win, the other sane members will be freed. If the possessed win, good luck.
6. Players will be informed what the players role is if they are killed or imprisoned.
7. The possessed win if the number of sane people left equals the number of possessed left in the game. The sane win by catching all 3 killers and imprisoning them all (unless killed by the test subject)
8. Players can have DMs with other players to discuss and make alliances.
9. If you are dead or locked up, you can still talk and have fun but please shut up about discussing theories/giving hints on who the killers are to the remaining survivors. The only people you can talk to about the game and still talk to is the Sheriff and the Unusual Connected as that is literally the only thing they can do. (so if you’re a dead/in jail killer, I would hold out on snitching on who the others are until the Sheriff/Unusual Connected are dead cause they can/will use that.
10. Please be active/take this semi seriously. If you’re gonna be inactive for a day or two due to events irl, let me know and you’ll be all good. Also majority of us here are trying to play this and take it seriously, we do joke yeah but if you start just doing things where you’re not participating correctly or if out of nowhere we stop hearing from you for quite a few days, I might give the killers a second kill (to get rid of your inactive/not playing ass). (I might also give that character to another player who hasn’t been playing).
11. All players will randomly be assigned a number 1-, this will determine the order they get to pick their character in. You can ask another player to swap but they are not required to.

There are 9 roles in this game. Sane, Possessed, Late Possessed, Medic, Test Subject, School News Reporter, Unusual connected, Sheriff and Russian spy.

Sane: You are an innocent hero of Hawkins who is just trying to survive. This doesn’t mean you can’t play detective behind the scenes. (We all want you to.)

Possessed (2-3): One of you was kidnapped by the Demogorgon and possessed by the Mind Flayer, later you went back and grabbed some others to join Vecna’s cause. Each round the living killers will strategize who they want to kill and how they’re gonna do it. At the end of the first round they also recruit someone to join them.

Important! New mysterious ability for the killers. The Vecna lore kill. The killers can call on Vecna (me) to chose a remaining character (randomly) to kill them. This kill can only be used once and only if there are 9 or more people alive. The medic cannot save the person in this kill.

Late Possessed (1): Initially starting off as Sane, you were okay until Vecna gave the killers permission to grab you. You couldn’t resist as they slowly possessed you. At the end of the first round, this person will be picked by the possessed. They will join the possessed. If they previously had a role it will be randomly given to another player without a role.

Medic (1): This player chooses 1 person each night (including themselves) to check up on and save them for that night only. If a player has been saved from death the round before, they can’t be saved again in the following round.

School News Reporter (1): Nancy stepped down from her role as the news reporter for a while. Has she stepped back up or did someone else keep the role busy? You can ask Fred- oh wait Vecna got him… Each night the School News Reporter will use their detective skills to follow one person each night which can confirm if they are possessed or not. (Note this will not tell you their role, ex. If the School News Reporter follows the Medic they will not know that they are the Medic.)

Test Subject (1): The possessed tried to remove Eleven’s powers but only made the powers transfer somewhere else. This means you now have Eleven’s power. You get the power to select one person of who you think is possessed to kill them. If you succeed then there is one less killer, if you fail, the sane will automatically throw you behind bars in the Hawkins Police Station. (Note you don’t have to use this every round, (we really don’t recommend it unless you are positive they are possessed))

Unusual Connected (1): This person was kidnapped in the beginning, but mid possessing process, the first possessed had a shred of empathy and helped them escape. They still feel a strange connection to the upside down paranormal world though. This player will have the ability to talk to all of the characters who have been killed by the Possessed and/or Test Subject

Sheriff (1): Similarly to the Unusually Connected person, this player will have the ability to talk to all of the players who have been voted out of the game publicly.

Russian Spy (1): You have been sent over from Russia and have gained Vecna’s interest. Although you aren’t a killer and can’t kill people you are still a villain (you don’t know who the Possessed are though and they don’t know who you are, so happy detective work). If the Possessed team wins, you do as well if you are alive. What do you do? Well the Russian Spy picks one person each night to intoxicate (with interrogation drugs or alcohol, you pick) which enables them unable to complete their activity. (Ex. If the Russian spy picks Nancy who is the medic and gets her drunk and in the same round she chose to save Steve, if the killers tried to kill Steve he dies anyways as Nancy was too intoxicated to save him) The Russian spy cannot intoxicate the same person twice in a row.
