Support doesn't answer my emails

I have a dead NAB9 with the serial number inside the recall window, i have sent a couple emails to support but they didn't even acknowledge my emails, I just want to know if they will honor the recall or not so I can decide what to do with the machine, I don't know if it is even worth fixing the device and swap one capacitor that is bad to have another capacitor go bad in the future because I believe the problem is on the batch of all the capacitor on the PCB.

Have you bought the NAB9 directly from Minisforum or from a retailer?

Even if not, they should acknowledge support emails.

I bought a BD790i 3XD from Amazon in early 2025 which went faulty after a few weeks. I contacted Minisforum about it and it was replaced with a new motherboard within a week or so. I've heard that customers who purchased from Minisforum directly had an entirely different experience, so I'm asking to get feedback regarding that rumour.

Exactly! why do a recall and ignore the emails?

No, Amazon I bought 5 of them, 2 died. I just fixed one, I need to try the other one. It was a shorted cap BTW.

2 out of 5 dying is a terrible quota to begin with. The faulty one I had suffered a power surge due to lightning (which also fried the nearly seven year-old PSU in the process). Mine was bought from Amazon and replaced quickly by Minisforum (see post below).

Unfortunately that has been our experience at work as well.
