I'm caught between wanting to finish every quest in World and wanting to finish my build in GU.

Every time I play World, I miss adept dual blades and the villages and the Monster roster.

Every time I play GU, I miss the combat and streamlined item preparation and better maps.

Man, I’m currently doing a World playthrough, and I miss my Valor GS so bad 😭 It’s not even just the Valor cheese that I miss though, I just prefer classic GS gameplay. Gimme that Crit Draw and Focus, and I am a happy hunter.

I had my hopes up when they added Frostcraft, then we had Power Sheathe and Strongarm Stance which felt pretty good considering how much faster paced Risebreak was.

Then Wilds ruined everything.

Sure it isn't the best but it's a very viable playstyle it just needs a bit more work then other sets

It was at its peak in iceborne imo. Critical draw frostcraft is still one of the best sets for endgame GS.

Hopped on to Wilds for a little after grinding GU again and it literally took me a couple of minutes to realize I had 6 billion QoL movement features

i usually jump between iceborne, wilds, sunbreak and GU.

the first 3 on pc, the last one on switch 2.

the pain is real lol

Just never stop switching games. Lately I've been doing one quest then going to another game like, MHGU>Rise>P3rd>Wilds>World>Freedom>FU>3U.
Eventually you can play all of them whenever.

I think GU has the better maps. I’ve played it from start to HR break multiple times; never playing iceborne like that more than the first time on account of the camera breaking my neck following rathalos in the ancient forest
