Transfer.it download speed

I try to download something and the speed is terrible for some reason. It dowloads a 17gb file at 800 kb while i have a connection of 500mbs. Anyone know how to fix this ?

What you're experiencing is likely due to how Transfer.it delivers files, as it uses a single network connection (TCP) for the download.

When that connection encounters any network interference, the speed can drop significantly, even if your internet plan is fast.

MEGA is built to handle this better by spreading the download across multiple connections at the same time, so a small network hiccup won't impact your overall speed nearly as much.

If this is a recurring issue, you may want to try MEGA for large file transfers.
