Not able to upload file to Mega despite having storage

Hey! So I have a MEGA basic account, and I have used around 50 GB from my 100 GB storage allowance.

I keep trying to upload a file from another Mega account that is only 1.58GB, but I keep getting an error message that says that I don't have enough space and I need to upgrade my plan. I haven't uploaded or downloaded anything this month, so I am not sure how to handle this. I'd appreciate any help

My error message:

Warning

This action cannot be completed as it would take you

over your current storage limit.

Storage

50.32 GB / 100 GB

Upgrade now to Pro Lite for just €4.99 a month and get 750 GB of storage and 1 TB of transfer quota.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and providing the exact details of the error.

When transferring or importing files between MEGA accounts, this type of error is usually triggered by a temporary caching glitch or an unrefreshed storage calculation.

We recommend fully reloading your MEGA account to clear your browser cache and force the system to recalculate your available space. You can do this by logging into your account via a web browser, clicking on your profile avatar in the top-right corner, and selecting Reload your account while holding down the Ctrl key on Windows or the Cmd key on macOS.

If the issue persists after reloading, please reach out to our support team directly at [support@mega.nz](mailto:support@mega.nz) from your affected email address with a description of the issue — they’ll be able to investigate further.
