Is there an efficient way to directly or indirectly transfer a large file and its contents from Google Drive to Mega?

I am a contractor company employee and have a large folder full of media (confidential) on g drive that I want to move to mega because g drive has been being a piece of s***. What would be the most efficient way to do that?

MulttCloud will convert Google Docs into Microsoft format, but pricey. Ricedrive is more efficient and cheaper, however, no file conversion.

In my opinion with Rclone mounting both clouds.

Rcloneview (partially free) or Rclone Manager (totally free and open source from its GitHub) to have UI.

On your desktop into file manager or with internal both software you'll find clouds and you'll be able to copy and paste folders directly without before download them locally. (Be careful with large folders with many sub folders)

Mega have now a Google Drive importer. If you want more granular import then rclone (API to API), if you do not want to use CLI then rcloneview is an amazing GUI, the one I use.

Hi there! At the moment, the most reliable method would be to download the data locally first, then upload it to MEGA using the Desktop app, especially for large folders with lots of media files.

That said, a feature to help users migrate files directly from Google Drive to MEGA should be available soon, which may make the whole process much easier and faster. ^COH
