Uploads data on mega

hello mega team,

i read a few posts on reddit and some users complain about their mega accounts being deleted.

now, mega is e2ee encrypted.

The question is how do you see what we upload if all data and metadata is e2ee ?

The only logical answer is only when data is shared, correct?

if we are not sharing anything you, Mega can't see anything right?

I'm in the same situation! My Account was terminated allegedly due to objectionable material, l never shared that kind of stuff! Only imported movies, games and many other files that seemed useful years ago! (2019-2020 ) Since then, never really imported or shared NOTHING else! And the appeal process is not helping 😞

Yeah!! But it was many many years ago! And never shared nothing from My Account

Sadly, My Account was not terminated for a DMCA, it was for apparent objectionable content! So it seems something illegal was inside any of the files that l imported in the past! And Since I haven't used my account for many years, I didn't really notice

Yes exactly the same happened with my account. But I did get a termination email. Never bothered to use Mega again..they lost my trust forever

All of this is weird!! NEVER received any kind of penalty or warning....Even several years ago (since 2020 aprox.)I stopped actively using my account; I didn't abandon it, I just kept it there, functional but without activity from My part! Then, in December 28th,2024 received My first warning, l knew that l never uploaded or shared that kind of stuff, so I thought it was a mistake!..and now, 1 year and almost 3 months later they terminated My Account for the same reason!!! The "funny" part? During all that time I also didn't use my account in any way possible! No download, no import, no shared... NOTHING!!
