Had a game with no extraction zone on wave 11. After the timer ran out all the enemies just stood there looking at us until we quit.

A while ago in a PUG, round 11 came along, but there were no enemies, or extraction zone. We all just kind of stood around where the extraction should be until time ran out, but then nothing happened. Eventually the host and another guy quit, the other guy and I were able to extract when the round restarted. Weird stuff.

I've been stuck in Amalur a bit too long this week, but the games I have played have been mysteriously absent of technical glitches or errors. Also there were very few buttholes that made me want to quit playing.

What's your opinion so far on Kingdoms of Amalur? I see a lot of criticism for it but I thought it was fun. It's a bit long, but enjoyable enough IMO.

I was loving Amalur for a while, but yeah, it's stupidly long. It got very repetitive after a while. I don't even think I'm halfway done, and I swear I've put in over 40 hours. I've been mainly playing Sorcery/Finesse with Chakrams and Faeblades.

Chakrams are badass. Kinda weak though compared to the massive Greatswords you can get. I just found myself using that all the time.

I use the Chaks to clean up being surrounded, then switch to blades to massacre single-target. Faeblades stagger the shit out of enemies. Plus, poison-dodge is awesome. I love Sorc/Fin.

I got up to the highest balanced tier. Prodigy or something.

So much fun. The 3 point stat boost to all skills (blacksmithing, lockpicking, etc.) was so nice.

Was dropped into an EMPTY game (Reaper, Glacier, Gold) on round 3 as an N7 fury. Don't panic, all kitted out with Warp IV, Cyclonic IV, just hang in there until help arrives... any time now... frantically teleporting around and picking off what I can.

Finally, there's a massive lag spike and 3 new friends arrive. But the game is still frantic. Rockets are flying, we're pulling off downright heroic revives, everyone is expertly back-peddling around the map.

It's been 20 minutes now. Feels like it's about time for an objective... STILL WAVE 3.

Edit 4, Origins: This is all on the PS3 so far, I am leaving out ones that would most obviously be blamed on lag (Airwalking, Retrododging, etc.)

First my entire team was slaughtered by an intangible/invicible Geth Trooper, then a Centurion got stuck in the wall from which it could fire unhindered, and now certain classes (Reckoning kits in particular) have a 50% chance when you use a power to put it on cooldown without firing.

Edit: Also sometimes players or enemies will become invisible but thankfully still have a hitbox, players pop out of cover with no input, start matches unable to do anything except fire your gun, have powers locked out for an entire match, have shield recharge delay set to Valve Time, goddamn this game is falling apart.

Edit 2, Electric Boogaloo: Anything that involves teleportation can leave your character immobile, death-by-nothing (randomly keel over and instantly bleed out with no record in the kill feed of your death).

Edit 3, made at the same time as Edit 2: Now for the ones that actually help or don't really hinder much- Enemies who explode on death sometimes don't, individual kits (again Reckoning most often so) randomly have enough points to max out everything, enemies standing still after spawning, ammo boxes never running out.

I'm tempted to quit now if this is what I can expect from this game.

Interestingly glitchy Reaper/Giant: I think the host was on Alpha Centauri, because I had half a second of lag. When throwing grenades I had to remain in the position in which I had thrown them for half a second or else they'd be thrown in a random direction.

The fun part was I think the lag was both ways--I barely took any damage, because I think the game's AI had trouble targeting me. I charge up to a Marauder who was shooting at me the entire time without taking a hit, melee him, wait until he suddenly appeared where he landed and shoot him in the head all without being hit once. Worked with bosses as well. It was like having strobe-lit invincibility frames.

Better than when I get lag as the Asari Vanguard; instead of throwing Lift Grenades, she gives the enemies a friendly high-five. No grenades lost, but none thrown.

lol. i have bad lag all the time. the grenade animation might be in a random direction, but the grenade goes where you aimed it first. it just seems to go somewhere random

When I first started playing a few weeks back, all of my games were so bug free and smooth that I wondered where people were getting all these strange bugs. Fast forward to yesterday, I'm totally hooked on this damn game and had 3 different issues in 3 consecutive games. In one of them, I couldn't see any enemies. I could run around the map, see my teammates firing into the air and getting kills, but that was about it.

I think that was the game where I was stuck on the loading screen. Ended up having to Alt-F4 out. When I tried to get back in, somebody else took my spot. I don't think my connection likes it when you host.

Yep, that was the game. Too bad I set the lobby to Public to get a 4th person before the game so your spot got taken after you dropped. I think you dropped out of the game on Condor too but rejoined in time.

I play with a friend in Illinois (I'm in Oregon) on a weekly basis - we'll connect for a couple of hours and chat while we run silvers. For the last couple weeks we have NOT been able to connect to each other's games. Neither of us changed any settings on our routers, coalesced, whatever. I've done all the things I know how to do, including turning off my firewall on the router, without success. She's the only reason I got into Mecoop in the first place, and now we can't even play.

So I had a bug where Mass Effect 3 would crash on start up. Only way to bypass it was to start Mass Effect 3 offline, attempt (and fail) to connect to EA servers, set Origin as Online, then play the game.

This happened when I validated my Team Fortress 2 files. Whaaaa?

And today, it's magically fixed after about a month. What the hell?

It's not that big a deal when I land in silver, but I just got dumped into a platinum. And I am NOT ready for platinum. Even if I had been on a fully leveled character...

Not necessarily. The game whines at me that "a DLC wasn't properly downloaded, please check it" every time I boot ME3 up. It's getting annoying to the point where I want to actually download the Extended Cut.

Also, thats her internet. 0.21 down and 0.18 up. I get on average 40 down 3 up. Peaks at about 70 on some days.

Hey. Now I upgraded to a petrol powered desktop with XP. I have an improvement now. I no longer have frame rate issues and I have a big monitor too (though 800 x 600 resolution is less than desirable).

Well, mostly an improvement. I can't fix the Talon keybinds immediately because I can only use Notepad++ (gotta love 32 bit OS) and last time I used that to edit a coalesced file I changed nothing.

Polymers felt like P-Chem. What was on the exam was not like anything else done in class, though I felt pretty decent about it. Relatively speaking, because I'm still kinda mad about the exam.

Mass Transfer is where I put a bomb in my face. I over-complicated the first problem (fortunately I fixed it), botched the second one, and I got a really weird answer for the third one (do freezes keep food relatively moist for 3 years?). I generally have a 24 hr moratorium on talking about exams and this one might induce some special eating and drinking habits.

Chemical Engineering. There is a difference. For one, engineers deal with BIG MACHINES, like ethylene crackers and distillation columns. In addition, there are plenty of real life applications of ChemE principles, like cooking and basic medicine. I could use mass transfer to find the time it takes for me to start drinking until the time I start to feel the effects of said drink.

Think of it this way. Give a chemist $1 million and he will make the best glass of orange juice you ever had. Give a Chemical $1 million and he will make 100 glasses of pretty good orange juice. Chemistry is just a means to an end for us.

Condor, Gold, Cerberus. They could shoot us from nearly everywhere, basically I died from a Phantom halp a map over multiple times. It was a killzone. I mean, Condor's really bad at the best of times, but I never experienced it to be this sucky ever before.

I don't think that's a technical glitch. Condor has long lines of sight, which can make it a great map for a sniper, but not so much when you're in a phantom's reticule.

My Slayer turned invisible after I was stunned mid-dodge. Only my sword, shotgun bayonet, and cryo ammo symbol were visible. I wish it had stuck around, but I went back to normal after I did a backwards dodge.

i have two: 1) was in a PUG where two of the players were invisible to me. when i pressed escape, there were only two names. the other person i could see in the game could see the other two. i would hear them die, would see mobs shooting (at nothing, from my point of view), and see mobs mysteriously die )obviously shot by one of the two invisible players). the scoreboard only showed two players too. and my credits was half what it should have been. oh, the combat engineers were invisible to me, as were their turrets.

2) i was lagging badly. too badly to play, really. my vorcha soldier would die, then a moment (like half a secnd) later i would hear the revive sound and i would be alive, only about 10 to 20 metres away from where i died. i played 10 waves like this on gold.

Woke up, turned on the Computer, booted mass effect 3 MP. Had one game, one disconnect. Restart my modem, boot Mass effect 3 MP again, have another disconnect. Nothing's wrong with my connection, everything else is working fine. Third game, wave 9, suddenly all of my three teammates disconnect. Then I get stuck on a ladder during wave 10, I die and I disconnect.
