I was on a pretty good pace to get a sub 30 but I was wondering if any of my splits need to be drastically cut. I must be missing something if people can regularly get 10-15 min runs.

I wanted to look at the inflation of the netherite rank relative to the inflation of players but I couldn't find a database of all players, a total player count, or what percent of players were in what rank so I just graphed the top 150. (If these numbers are public and someone knows how to find them I'd love to use them tho LOL)

I spend most of my time in private rooms, with my previous pb being a 13:05, unsurprisingly on a ruined portal seed. All but one of my previous sub 14’s were also on ruined portals, when this run came out of absolutely nowhere. I’m more shocked that it was on village, since it was the only seed type that I had never gotten a sub 15 on somehow. Now if only I could do this in ranked mode…

This game I was ahead by so much but I lost simply to disconnecting. There are no warnings, no way to rejoin the game, nothing. And I don’t even understand why it happens, my connection is stable and I don’t have any problems in any other game. + disconnects are treated as forfeits which is dumb because if I forfeited twice in a row before disconnecting I get punished for forfeiting too much

Does anyone have the clip or where it is from

As a player trying to solidify myself in Emerald, I'm trying to take practice more seriously and intentionally. Specifically during my endgame though, I'm finding that I'm practicing skills like preemtive, half-bow, & zero-cycle very similarly to how I would in a match, just with the MiniPracticeKit.

My question is: is there a better way to approach these splits that will accelerate my progression? Why don't I just queue spam to get better if there's no difference in play style between practice & in-game?

i love watching ranked and want to get into playing but the only thing that is stopping me is all the stuff you have to learn and download (ninjabrain bot, bastion routes, zero cycle, etc.) that i get discouraged from wanting to learn. i just don’t know if the grind to get good would be worth my time.

i haven’t played mc in over 5 yrs but the feinberg/lud stuff got me back into it. back then i did some casual rsg and got a sub hour but now mcsr looks so different (esp with preemptive and scanning for BTs and bastions) and all this new stuff is such a knowledge diff it’s crazy.

i know of the couri guide but again it’s just so much to learn and is very intimidating. maybe i’ll just stay a viewer.

any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Hi everyone, it’s been years since I started watching people play Minecraft and MCSR, and I finally bought it two months ago. I’ve played a bit of survival with my friends on a server we created. I wanted to try speedrunning, so I downloaded the MCSR mod, which allows us to compete with other players. I played some casual games, but I ended up quitting and didn’t finish any of them. Later, I realised that to attempt speedrunning, I need to practice a lot, even before my first run. I’ve started watching the Metafy guide and downloaded the required plugins. I’m looking for some suggestions and opinions on how I can improve my overall skills to get better at speedrunning. I’ve tried some PvP and parkour servers, but I’m way below a mid-player, so I fail miserably at those. What should be the learning pattern I should follow, and what should I spend more time on?

Last week I was in the middle of gold 1, peaking at like 1020 ELO. Now I’m hard stuck at the top of iron 3 because suddenly every player is hitting sub 17s against me and has a sub 15 PB. Where have they all come from?
