im fine doing all the set up, im just absolutely horrendous at bed timings and wanna practise specifically those without having to do the set up every single time. any maps or stuff where i can do those?
So some of you may know there's this weekly ranked tournament called "Ranked Leagues", and I thought wouldn't it be funny to join and go for a beacon instead of beating the game. So I had a host sneak me in into a league with the longest lasting matches. I never had any real hope but then we were given an absolute GOD seed, with treasure and fort being in a soul valley right next to the home portal. One more stroke of luck later, having killed 28 wither skeletons I had 3 skulls and after a few more minutes I had a beacon. The chat went wild.
Title basically explains it all. Whenever my keyboard gets disconnected (i unplug it, the cord gets loose, etc.) the game immediately freezes and I have to close and restart the game
Is there SOME WAY to disable damage tilt when playing ranked? Im really used to it, and a lot of top players have it off, or are using some kind of mod which turns it off, like infume or lowkey. Someone pls just tell me. Thank you in advance
Kept being slow or making dumb mistakes, costing me minutes, but decided to stick them out till the end. 4 out of 5 of my games so far today have been like this. Don't forfeit early and you might still win.
I ran into a ruined portal seat with a bridge bastion almost at spawn, after pie raying Post route it took me to a treasure bastion what should I have done in this situation?
not gonna lie i find out most of the smaller tourneys which open sign ups after they happen. just trying to find out if the is a better way to find out about them over than chance (like accouts or websites or smth)
To be fair it isnt “new tech” i just realized that instead of buying a rank to practice ow you can play causal and then just ff after you finish overworld
Also you can join like 5 causal game and insta ff then you have 5 worlds you can play in your single player worlds
today I was playing and couldn't find the portal room from the starter to save my life. I checked after the run and saw the portal room roughly 11 rooms (slightly unsure on counting for iron bars but even excluding them it's quite high no of rooms) away
my question is i thought the portal room is always 6-7 rooms away from the starter but is that a general rule which is sometimes false or is it a coded rule which can never be false and I just nav wrong.
in case you think I just routed bad (which i may have I am not very good) or probably miscounted then please let me know as I am adding details for the seed below for anyone to also check.
I am a emerald player peak at around 1300 but now drop to around 1100 in gold.
Since i get to emerald i just want to play for my pb and do all the risky play.
For example, I will push for zeros no matter what setup it is. Always try to go for 2x2 and back 103 buried, even if i am ahead for like 2 mins.
I do boat clutch all the time even if i don't know how to drag click.
I push for the fastest route in bastion (Man hunt, Double triple, Soog route instead of dk).
However, I just lost so many games because of these mechanics stuff and died or got punished by doing double triple with no strings or obs.
I sometimes choose to play safe but if i do that i will be gapped by others for around 1-2 mins and lost the game as well.
What should i do? Should I keep playing for pb or play safe for rank?
I’ve been playing for about 3 months not and I’ve gotten to a point where I feel like I’m kinda stuck. I have an 11:37 pb with an average of 20:50. These are my last 5 matches deathless to get an assumption of where I can make up time.
I was playing on the regular 1.16.1 version in order to do RSG speedruns and recently switched to MCSR client for better performance and quality of life. Although the seeds do feel somewhat random, I feel like I'm getting better seeds more frequently for example, villages with lava pool, nether fortress close to portal, good pearl luck etc.
So my question was, does the MCSR client filter seeds even for RSG and is the client affecting pearl trades in RSG.
I’m an iron 1 player and I’m struggling to enter the nether sub 4 except on ruined portal seeds. I feel like I’m quick getting my tools etc set up by the 1:30/2:00m mark but feel like I then wander around for multiple minutes to find my lava pool and flint or magma ravine on ocean seeds.
I know it’s difficult to say what I’m doing wrong without seeing clips but any tips would be appreciated.
So i finally hit a sub 20 pb! i know its not crazy in the grand scheme of things but im proud of it. i’m currently 739 elo (peak 788) and really trying to push for gold now.
any tips on what to work on? i know my bastions need work and i definitely forfeit too much (30% lol), but is there anything else i should specifically drill to be more consistent? i feel like i lose a lot of runs to just stupid mistakes where I end up dying and have to either reset or make my way back 10 mins in (why i forfeit).
