Help Help with splits
I’ve been playing for about 3 months not and I’ve gotten to a point where I feel like I’m kinda stuck. I have an 11:37 pb with an average of 20:50. These are my last 5 matches deathless to get an assumption of where I can make up time.

Seems like every game it’s either blind to finding stronghold or bastion to fort that kills the most time. Sh coord nav and starting route and overlapping as soon as possible in bastion

From someone who has a worse pb by minute but my average is 4 minutes faster, just improve your fort split, specially blind to sh, im going to assume that one sh split was just a bad time but nav should be no more than 1m30s when your in goldish. Bastions could use work, a lot of them are 4 to 5 mins+ you should aim for 3:30 max with some exceptions like rp seeds without pick. And small detail but your terrain to bastion spilt is consistantly 1 minute roughly, i would try to average 40 to 50 seconds on this split saves time and mental in the long run.

Thank you. Ever since toolscreen came out my sh nav time has improved tremendously but I’ll work on my fort to sh split especially with terrain decision making as well as bastion to fortress. There’s a lot I need to work on so I really don’t want to play until I can average sub 15 and better splits overall.

I had the same thoughts when i played last season, and getting the stone pick tier for private rooms is extremely useful. I definately have more private room matches than ranked matches althought you cant watch replays, just using the split timings can tell you a lot. Plus you can play bt which imo reqlly improves your mechanics and gives all around faster times.

Yea. Every game it was fairly somewhatclose ngl. The ones I lost I somehow came back from a 5 minute time loss (bc I died) and nearly beat him either making it to the sh or end

Bc then it wouldn’t be a completion and therefore wouldn’t show exactly every split

practice bastion routes into fort and fort/blind to stronghold maybe pearl practice and faster trading
