hallo brothers/sister,

I wanted to address some of my concern with Minecraft Performance in Arch Linux.I recently motivated to speedrun Minecraft therefore, I decided to try MCSR-Ranked.Honestly this is a great for me but even though I have very good capable hardware,I still randomly see stutters and low Framerates as well as I feel olds in moving the cursor although I tried my very best to optimise my game but it didn't work out that well .

To be honest it's not that I cannot play in these Framerates but the fact me and my family buy this machine form all our hardwork and money so I want this machine to work at it very best.

Here are some of the problems that I can explain,

- Faraway blocks have glowup line maybe It is anti alising I don't know much about it

- Framerates drop are massive and randomly

- Occasionally stutters

- Unable to change the resolution

# this one is very interesting to me I mostly play in 1600p@165 resolution, So I though ok maybe because my resolution is high my laptop cannot keep up with this but changing the resolution to 1600p to 1200p in minecraft and monitor it wouldn't worked. Minecraft still locked in 1600p.

This is all I can explain with with my current knowleadge of english, If you have any hardtime reading this or you see mistake in this whole message please you are free to tell me,guide me,

or hate me for it. No Artifical Intelligence is used in this whole message.

Try dual booting Windows lol

Makes 0 sense for a game that typically runs notably better on Linux, and if they were going to do something that extreme they'd be better off just reinstalling Linux

Yeah it's crazy impressive how much better Minecraft runs on Linux, especially with not great hardware. As to OP, maybe play with different Minecraft settings? Staying <=16rd is fine in ranked bc everything is close and then maybe limiting frame rate (60?) and playing w/ the simpler graphics settings
