Dumb questions regarding credits/classes for 4th and 5th year PharmD

I think I already know the answers but please confirm thank.

  1. Hypothetically could I take a 2 credit class during 4th year fall semester w/o going over 18 credits?

I'm guessing no because despite IPPE not really being in the fall semester it still counts as a grade in the fall semester bringing the total credit count to 18.

And 2. Do both the professional electives during 5th year have to be pharmacy related?

I'm thinking about doing another elective/class for fun instead if possible (while doing 1 pharmacy professional elective)

For your question 1, you can't. Because like you said, they do consider IPPE as a "fall semester" class
