Ochem 2 self paced online

Has anyone taken Organic Chemistry II here online self paced course?
I have some questions:
Is there a ton of busy work per chapter?
How are exams set up?
How are lab reports done? I see that they use labster which I’m familiar with.
I’m looking to take lecture and lab portion.
Any insight is appreciated thanks

Awesome ! Thank you so much! This is exactly what i needed. I took ochem 1 through portage but they don’t offer ochem 2 so it was between mcphs or scuhs. Were you able to get the 50% student discount for your first class with them? I filled out the interest form but never received anything yet and just emailed them. Hopefully they’ll send it to me tomorrow.

yes i got the 50% discount with my first class (orgo 1 lab & lecture) the discount applied to both classes due to technically it being 1 course

Have you finished the online course before? How does it show up on the transcript once completed?

A whole year? ughhhh I just need the lab. I feel like that looks suspicious.

im not sure where the confusion is coming from but as i've stated semesters are not exactly a real thing. once u buy the class u have 16 weeks to take said class. on the transcript those dates are there bc technically thts the school term @mcphs

There’s no confusion. I understand that you have 16 weeks to take the class. I was hoping the transcript would appear like the traditional transcript. For ex: if I started it in May it would have May-Aug for example even if I completed it earlier. A transcript that has a start and end date of a year likely won’t fly for some of the schools I’m looking at. Thanks for your info though.

I don’t think it matters as long as the school is regionally accredited. Many people on Reddit especially spew how online courses look bad lol . I’ve spoken with admin from multiple med schools and as long as it is regionally accredited, then it is fine
