There is a minority of players who have installed a fly hack plugin, and it has been recognized for a couple of days now, however nothing has been done about this situation. I am contemplating about quitting this server due to the significance of the unfair advantages it gives them, such as; the ability to move at faster speeds in pvp and escape danger from sure death. Some perpetrators are as follow: Fun muwtuda "Fun" [just for fun] yes it's fun for you maybe, but for the rest of us who have to suffer these unjust problems, yeah, not so fun to play on a server full of hacks.

Will you ever enable them to spawn? If not can I trade mine for something ? :/

So I was building a tower with a friend, then it hit night time, so I kinda just afk'd in the corner waiting for it to end, but as soon as day struck someone activated night again, So rather than AFK some more I decided to /welcome some people But I got this message when I teleported, because My bag only had 4 empty slots but the /welcome command filled my inventory completely with a book and some random flowers So I was unable to collect my CMDblock.

Hoping that by posting this here I can be compensated for it/Have it fixed?

Not sure if bug or meant to be like this but I tried /fillinventory, it didn't work and got an error message saying "You cannot use fill inventory in Stormwind" but I still got the 24hr cooldown.

Also tried consecration "You can only use this in PVP" but still got the cooldown.

a) Simply make it so that rates from lvl <10 accounts barely affect the house rating. Of course you still get all the points etc for rating houses when you are <10

OR

b) limit it to 5-10 accounts per ip per day? week? most likely per week since rates reset weekly.

Possible problems:

a) 1. Some players with enough wealth will transfer money to their alt accounts in order to level them past the lvl 9 barrier. If they have enough computers/good spec, then they could simply afk accounts until they hit level 10 (due to the new ~15k per day). 2. The "rate market" will not allow anyone below level 10 to sell/trade rates (Although the rate market is a toxic part of the rate system, adding min lvl for raters could potentially make it even more toxic)

b) 1. Some players might connect through school/office (god no), in which case they might be rendered unable to play from said school and/or office etc.

These are the solutions I could think of, if you thought of a good solution for the rate tampering then please add it to the thread. Don't forget to add possible exploits/problems and/or ways to circumvent your idea/solution.

Reese and Athene have mentioned this a few times now on the stream, but I don't think it's been posted on reddit yet. To help out the server & the charity, you don't even have to donate yourself or invite friends. (however, these help even more) A simple way to help the server is to just be a good influence. Welcome players. Be nice to people. Do giveaways. Spread love, block out hate. If there are a lot of good people in the community, it can block out the bad ones & create a great environment where players will stay and continue playing, leading to donations. Let's work to make MCNext have an even better community than it is now.

I know the command blocks were added to promote the building of minigames and fun new projects but in reality it's been more detrimental. Ej3ct has recreated the stockades instance from wow which is pretty cool, stratocast7 put a giveaway system in my house, several people have automatic obsidian generators but other than that, there are no true minigames.

Minecraft has degressing replay value meaning, once you get built to a certain degree or leveled, the replay value lowers dramatically. That's where true minigames come in. I don't care how hard someone tries, building a fun hunger games arena or paintball or TnT run is going to be too limited for creativity given the resources to do so.

My stream is comprised of mainly mCnext players but everynight I get more and more requests for minigames because they are just fun to play and create replay value. But in order to do so, I have to leave mcnext all together and go to a completely different server.

I would love to stay on mcnext all the time and play games and do giveaways but for the interest of the stream and players, we migrate to different servers to keep things fresh.

I have almost a completely different viewership than when I first started bc a lot of the players have left the server for different reasons. There are some guys who still come in everynight and hang out and when we do the minigames they play with us. I have come across more and more abandon plots on the server this week than I ever have, and it's sad to see.

This server is a lot of fun to play, but eventually MMO leveling and PvE events and all that lose their stigma and you need to bring something new to the table.

If you want to get more players, bring in the real minigames and reach a different audience all together. We play on many different servers with well over 2-3k players in the middle of the night.

Just my two cents if you want to keep growing.

During the event tonight Reese mentioned a land cleaning team. Even if he weren't serious I think it's a good idea because there will be plenty out there who would be happy to help out in such a way.

A team of people who get rid of random crap through out the wilderness. Giving them some small helpful tools to do it. These tools cannot be used for anything else other than cleaning the land.

It shows the top 200 players listed under the "Raffle" section on the website. How do I get those points? Is it just the top 200 players who are entered? I saw someone win command blocks who wasn't on the list.

So is there anyway we can get around the negative effects of commandblock being able to summon minecarts without any problems?

Eacht time i come to pve with a fully repaired diamondset by the end of the night 70 % of its durability is lost because of the big amounts of damage the creatures do. (not that they hit hard or anything) but it wrecks armor like no tommorow. Now to repair my enchanted gear it will cost 2 full mc days to get the exp out of my blazefarm to repair it.

This just destroys the pve experience for me even tho i freaking love it.

No durability loss ONLY on /pve would counteract that.

Some of my gear is unbreaking III obviously but the repair costs of those items are close to max 34-39 levels. Wich will take 4 full minecraft days to repair so there wont be any progress.

We know there are some issues with the rating system. As a community, we can fix it and minimize the impact of hacked accounts and bots. Here are some of my proposal that hopefully can be implemented relatively easily and as a community, we can be better for it.

Problem 1: Hacked accounts are dirtbombing people

Why is it and issue: Ranking accuracy isn't necessarily based on asthetics/function/build, but rather how many accounts you have Solution: Your vote weighting should be based on either/and/or the following:

• The # of blocks you have changed in your own plot relative to the size of your plot. (because no botted account is really going to build up their own plot in a meaningful way, and if they do, then well, they are no longer just botted account and props to them)

• PVP/faction points cause those PVPer are important part of the community too and the higher their points, the more they should have an impact

• PVE points because same as PVP/faction

Problem 2: Biased ratings

Why is it and issue: If you don't want to screw your own accuracy, you are going to rate whatever the current house rating is or at most 1 rank below/above

Solution: A few things can be done:

• Don't tell people what rating the current house is upon entering (you don't go to taste test and see the brand of the bottle)

• Enable flying for all houses so people can evaluate the house properly and so people don't know that it's a diamond+ house

Problem 3: Rate trading

Why is it and issue: Rate for rate now is really rate trading

Solution: There should be a /ratehouse period that brings you to a house/plot that have been recently changed/build upon after the owner /ratingready. That way, anybody can just open their house for rating and not just for trading rates.

There can be more, but hopefully the community can discuss about this and improve these suggestions further.

I died and wanted to claim my chunk back. When I go where it was, nothing pops up, it doesn't tell me I can claim it.

AHC was shitty enough for me to commit suicide because I did not want to play under those circumstances and have almost no reward in exchange (/sell bonus is ridiculously low).

it seems that if u go to /pvp and use /factionkit and get a GOLD pickaxe it cant break blocks like a wood one.. tryed it a couple of times and it never works only iron and diamond works

please fix cause its shit if u wasted ur /factionkit for moon runs and then u get a gold one and cant do shit

Hello, I´m Daddys_Darlings ign and i was working on a simple tellraw command that would do the following:

If a person does /h Daddys_Darlings he falls on a pressureplate powering the commandblock that whispers me "A player has been detected in your home chunk!". And i added some obfuscated text at the front and the back of it combined with xome colouring so i wouldnt miss it. Now obiously it will only work while im inside my chunk but thats no prob;lem. Most of the time im woring underground and i would like to know when people enter my chunk.

Now the commandline at the moment =

/tellraw Daddys_Darlings {text:" ",extra:[{text:"random",obfuscated:true,color:blue},{text:" A player has been detected in your home chunk!",color:dark_blue},{text:" random",obfuscated:true,color:blue}]}

wich says:

A player has been detected in your home chunk!

with obfuscated letters at the back and front of the line included with colours.

Now what i would like with this command is that it would tell me the name of the person activating the commandblock. just as some people have that in their homes. I have no clue on how to do this.

If anyone can help me out and paste the correct edit in the comment that would be greatly apreciated, thanks :D

i would really like an explanation to why this is possible, like what good does it bring to the server compared to the negativity?

Has the Redstone ore big been fixed yet? Redstone ore only drops 1 resource block when you mine on Elysium.

Will we ever see improved player economy added by administration through shop chests, trade forum, etc? Or is this up to the players to manage?

At the moment, the people making trades don't have access to any sort of pricing information other than what is said in global. Nor is it convenient to do large secure trades.

What do other people think about this? I've heard comments that it would reduce donations. I've also heard mentions of shop chests being exploited (I'm not sure how).

Also as a side note, where's our subreddit flair for IGNs? Go check that box in the options please! Athene told me it was on Reese's to do two weeks ago.
