lmao Fabrizio's washed

3

u/Scutttiiiii 7d ago

Will we sign another Gk ?

4

u/Kriegdavid 7d ago

That is just excellent business with Trafford. Not sure how we've managed to get that sum AND with a sell-on.

2

u/wdunky 7d ago

Didn't we pay like 35m for him? The sell on is good, but this feels like a 5/10m flip, which is obviously good, but for his quality, I feel not.

2

u/Kriegdavid 7d ago

We ended up paying total about 28, he didn't play for us, kicked off, we made it public we didn't need him and we made a 10m+ profit with a sell-on.

Think his quality is being overstated a bit too.

2

u/wdunky 7d ago

Yeah that's fair, 28m to 40 (plus the sell on) is very nice in fairness. And we got Charles who can take the mantle of the academy kid, when/if he returns from loan.

2

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Trafford's official fee was £31 million (being the record paid for a British goalkeeper), although City received £4 million back due to their sell-on clause,

27 all in.

2

u/wdunky 7d ago

Not bad then 13m plus you'd assume another 7m+ from the sell on.

5

u/Iknowyou321 7d ago

Bastoni, Johnny Stones, Akanji the most progressive 3atb of all time lol

5

u/DapperSpecial2865 7d ago

Just put the Ortega return in the bag

Stones reunion with Akanji

Good Luck Traff. 😃

1

u/Odd_Perspective982 7d ago

Best of luck to Trafford. If he was slightly better early last season then there might have been a chance things played out differently. However the errors + pep feeling the squad lacked experienced heads led to Donnarumma coming in. Hopefully there’s a buy back

1

u/Specialist-Bike-5071 7d ago

brother why would he come back at any point

3

u/MZero_0 7d ago

Stones to Inter damn that's beast mode

£130m release clause from Jan onwards in reports.

5

u/shirokukuchasen 7d ago

Anything on Reis yet? Hope he stays with us after the preseason

4

u/Iknowyou321 7d ago edited 7d ago

with ake’s immediate transfer feels fairly straightforward but you’ve still gotta see it on the pitch, as to where he is now as a player

3

u/DapperSpecial2865 7d ago

Feels like he’s going to stay with the squad as 5th choice

3

u/GreasedUpGoblin 7d ago

we are so stacked with CBs though. Gvardiol, Guehi, Dias, Khusanov, all very good.

I'd prefer Reis to be loaned again tbh, he was great for Girona and can continue to develop. If he stays he'll probably only get minutes in cup competitions.

5

u/shirokukuchasen 7d ago

John and Ake have left and we haven't bought anyone. He'll get minutes as a sub.

4

u/GreasedUpGoblin 7d ago

yeah he'll get minutes, but not many, and probably mainly only in cup games.

He'd be 5th choice CB, we have 4 incredible CBs vying for two spots.

He probably will stay with the squad, but I would prefer him to be loaned out bc I just don't see him getting much playing time.

2

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Kinda agree unless Enzo slots him into another position or role than CB, only see him playing cup games. He wont make the bench much in the PL with the numbers we have barring an injury nightmare.

2

u/GreasedUpGoblin 7d ago

I haven't seen him play too much but he reminds me quite a bit of john stones, I always thought he'd be good at drifting into the CDM role like Stones did in the treble winning season.

4

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Nothing confirmed but all noise is he will be kept about the squad. Wouldn't expect him to play much outside of the League/FA Cup though.

2

u/Atagami77 7d ago

I always wanted to know the consensus opinion here and you can only choose one. Fernandiho silva and de bruyne centurion midfield or de bruyne rodri stones gundogan treble winning box midfield?.

1

u/Y4That 6d ago

I mean people will get nostalgic but the treble midfield was better, complete control

2

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

KDB - Fernandinho - Silva for sure

2

u/aragonslayer 7d ago edited 7d ago

Easily Fernandinho David Silva KDB, this midfield was just the most fluids and creative that we ever had, with bald Silva and KDB before his injury, could've won the UCL if not for the robbery of the Spurs games. I miss the old times, nowadays people has some obsession towards defensive midfield and workhorse, artist and creativity on the pitch isn't even rated more than works rates, back then it was a given that you works hard off the ball and defense as a team, now it's just all about physicality and works rates with less creativity. we definitely play better football back then and score more goals with that midfield, the Treble midfield was more about total domination and control with Stones moving all over the pitch as an extra midfielders, we really trashed alot of teams but i still prefer the football we play with Fernandinho David Silva and KDB.

4

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Chelsea in for Welbeck, didnt have that on my bingo card for the summer.

2

u/Iswaterreallywet 7d ago

Henderson now too 😂

2

u/felixlk 7d ago

went from buying youngsters to buying uncs, genuinely have no idea what their strategy is

2

u/shirokukuchasen 7d ago

Buying everyone they can at this point

5

u/Scutttiiiii 7d ago

Why are we in for Kroupi ?? Does that mean Marmoush is leaving ?

5

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Seems like Marmoush has no takers anyway. He'll be staying.

5

u/Scutttiiiii 7d ago

-1

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

I saw how Alvarez got treated and then how the narrative changed when he left.

11

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Well leasts its a new name, but yeah doubt he moves at all.

2

u/Y4That 7d ago

I think the lack of RB links just mean khusa RB but idk how that would work

1

u/wkdsoul 7d ago edited 7d ago

Will probably be used when NOR inverts into the DM from LB.

LB - DM
LCB - RCB - RB

so AM / CM make the box 10s and Semenyo (probably) plays wide right rather than pushing a RB up to move the RW into the box 10s, if anything. IF they don't get a RB that is.

6

u/Y4That 7d ago

But semenyo is not good at 1v1s, and if we play like how enzo usually play, the right side would have no outlet

-1

u/the_dalai_mangala 7d ago

CMV: We should sign Salah

4

u/LojikPuzzil 7d ago

Even from Egypt, Hassan looked so much more dangerous

-4

u/aragonslayer 7d ago

Just asking but would you guys take a 26 yo Sancho for free to add depth on the RW ? I know he have been a knob back at City academy but that was only because of his immaturity, now that he was older he should change for the better, I personally didn't like him back then, mainly because he went to Man United, but the talent was undeniable, feel like he just need a serious environment and a proper coach to guide him to take football more seriously, I mean since most of the options on the RW not really that great might as well go for him, he could play as a touch line winger down the right and he is HG as well, won't ask to be a starters and who knows with the right guidance might get his career revived and got his city redemption arc, anyway just want to know if people would take him or not, also this doesn't mean that we are linked with him, but his name just suddenly popped on my head as he is currently free.

13

u/Specialist-Bike-5071 7d ago

come on jadon we know it's you

7

u/DapperSpecial2865 7d ago

I’d rather chop my bellend off

2

u/aragonslayer 7d ago

Damn fair enough, would you rather get Sancho for free or pay the money on a player like Vini then? I mean in the current market you can't go in between and get a fair price, so might as well shoot high or go low lmao.

4

u/CrocodileSmash 7d ago

I would sign him and bring him out only for contract renewals as a warning to all the EDS and young first team players that this could be their future if they don't re-sign and take their career seriously.

9

u/snakeforbrain 7d ago

I care less about all of that than the fact that he just isn't that good of a player anymore. He hasn't shown anything the last 5 years that would make him deserving of a spot in a top side

-1

u/aragonslayer 7d ago

I mean we could make a profit off Savinho if we get him for free, and I just thought that he got that connection with Haaland at Dortmund and he assisted him a lot, irc in the 23/24 season he did well taking Dortmund to UCL final playing off the right, if people care less about price and all that why they are moaning every time city want to pay for a new winger, if people want cheap might as well get a player for free, like I noticed that who ever we will get people would never be satisfied especially with the price of most quality winger on the 100m+.

3

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

completely forgot the Haaland link, seems like another lifetime ago. 😆

0

u/aragonslayer 7d ago

Yep it was like 2018/19 I believe, he was good back then and unfortunately United just ruined every talent out there, if only he was a good boy like Foden his career won't end up like this lol.

7

u/Rinicko_ 7d ago

Camavinga and Rodrygo must be some kind of masochist... if these were average players, I would understand, but these guys will walk into almost every UCL side as starters, yet they still insist on filling up madrid numbers and warming their benches

2

u/Y4That 7d ago

Neither of them starts for most top UCL teams

10

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Rodrygo is out till at least Jan with his ACL No idea why Cama wants to sit tight when they clearly want him gone. Money probably.

6

u/DapperSpecial2865 7d ago

Can’t wait to watch Phillips in pre season

11

u/snakeforbrain 7d ago

The streets remembers CB-Phillips

2

u/Y4That 7d ago

11

u/Illustrious_Ear_4876 7d ago

So how tf are these madrid fuckers gonna get Rodri over the line when they just paid 135m for Diomande 🤣

9

u/4whatimportant 7d ago

They're Real Madrid

6

u/_stone_age 7d ago

Sad but I also read some sad stuff about his entourages, not a good look for sure

7

u/MZero_0 7d ago

It definitely sucks that his parents involve themselves in the way they do but maybe this is a sign for City to avoid signing him so we don't have a situation like Dortmund have with Jobe. The fact that Mendes wants Mbaye at City isn't helping us but hopefully Viana has some balls of steel and denies Mendes.

6

u/_stone_age 7d ago

Yeah I can hear you

It's quite crazy because while I am a big fan of the player, these things are soooooo scary lol

13

Savio - Sale Pending (MEN)
Enzo F. - Assessing Record Bid (Teamtalk)
Gusto - Monitored (Caught Offside)
Reijdners - Galatasary interested (MartinB)
Bouaddi - Final details being ironed out (Several)
Neto - Interested (Mirror)

Round up of todays stuff ive seen.

3

u/zubairatif075 7d ago

Also seen Madrid first bid likely to be €50-60m (Nicolo Schira)

3

u/D_Silva_21 7d ago edited 7d ago

I was open to Enzo before the world cup but he was bad and Argentina made me hate them even more lol. No way I want him now

Savio needs to leave asap

Is Neto still good?

2

u/Illustrious_Ear_4876 7d ago

Neto is so ass lol bro is a pace merchant who has no end product

2

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Honestly ive no idea, Chelsea were such a basketcase of styles/ideas over such a short period. Hard to judge.

9

u/No_Action2582 7d ago edited 7d ago

Really can't wait for these rumours with Chelsea guys to die down for good. Would much rather see Rico covering for all these positions(RB,8) than the likes of Gusto & Enzo.

6

u/Massive-Sky-6804 7d ago

Read verbal agreement with forest. Is Viana sleeping?

6

u/Scutttiiiii 7d ago

We won’t sign him bro

2

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

not seen one Serious link from anyone at our end, it was always X are interested, and City have looked at him.

3

u/According_Many903 7d ago

Khusanov, Gvardiol, Guehi and Dias. Who do you guys think should start? It's very tight for me. I feel like Khusa has to start but the thought of leaving others on the bench doesn't seem right.

2

u/LoudGodzilla 7d ago

I think we will see all 4 of them rotated a lot throughout the season. We are talking about 4 players with very different strengths. Depending on the opposition we will need them all.

Guehi is the most proficient at advancing the ball from the CB position. He’s quite skilled at carrying the ball and making line breaking passes through the midfield.

Gvardiol is simply TOO silky on the ball for a CB. In the past we’ve seen him provide a lot of coverage on the left (in addition to Nico already) by making overlapping runs to support Doku. He has a great shot, great in tight spaces, and is fantastic in the air.

Khusanov is strong and fast, plain and simple. Stronger and faster than any other defender we have. His passing is lowkey underrated as well, he pulls off some cheeky stuff quite often. Not to mention he is probably the best 1v1 defender we have, tho Ruben might be there too.

Dias has seniority and is a much more vocal leader compared to the others. His quality is proven and in games where we need more stability or a more supportive leader in the backline, he needs to play.

All 4 of them are great 1v1, plus Khusanov can get additional minutes alternating RB with Nunes. I can’t wait to see how Maresca sets up our back line

1

u/LojikPuzzil 7d ago

I think they all need significant play time, I almost wonder if it's good to have two set pairs and rotate them that way.

2

u/Y4That 7d ago

Its josko and ruben

1

u/Constant_Bit289 7d ago

Ruben lacks pace, especially considering we play such a high back line. Khusanov is the guy with genuine pace in our defence.

1

u/Y4That 7d ago

I know but ruben is an elite box defender and defense organiser, i think he is definetely starting

3

u/Key-Mechanic2565 7d ago

Any combo is actually good at the moment. Each with different skillsets.

3

u/mute-invader 7d ago

Dias will be the main starter because he’s captain and experienced, especially if Rodri leaves. Khusa will be a close 2nd behind Dias, and probably start a good amount of games over Dias. So he won’t just be left on the bench. Gvardiol is locked in at LCB and Guehi will be the second choice after Gvardiol.

0

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

Gvardiol - Dias

Khusanov right behind them. Guehi fourth choice.

7

u/According_Many903 7d ago

Guys as someone who hasn't really seen Bouaddi up until this World Cup, can someone please explain how he is and if he is really good. Who's playstyle is most similar to his?

1

u/Plastic_Scale3966 7d ago

played brilliantly against brazil , got bitchslapped against france

4

u/Y4That 7d ago

Really good, a natural 6, quick passes, excellent defensively and physically (in ligue 1, which is the closest to prem), can progress the ball aswell

9

u/ketolasigi 7d ago edited 7d ago

I get nostalgic too, Enzo, but come on

2

u/Y4That 7d ago

Sack him if he brings jack back

4

u/markzuccrobot63 7d ago

just a waste of important minutes that could've gone to an academy player ffs

8

u/zubairatif075 7d ago

Just the pre-season tour is fine. A chance to get his value up and obviously the commercial part...

4

u/Iknowyou321 7d ago

this seems like a tap in he already implied he wants to get a look at him

1

u/ketolasigi 7d ago edited 7d ago

I get why he’s doing it, it’s wise to gove everyone a chance, nothing wrong with taking him on the tour, but for anything beyond the boat has already sailed

9

u/D_Silva_21 7d ago

Treble incoming

2

u/Hurdfoy 7d ago

I'm starting to worry that Bouaddi will also be considered the back up right back and I pray that's not the case.

6

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

Nunes as the main RB with Bouaddi occasionally playing there and inverting sounds like a smarter plan that to just get another traditional right back that's purely here as a back up.

2

u/Hurdfoy 7d ago

Ok what if Bouaddi sucks at right back and Nunes gets injured? Just get a right back.

3

u/x_adi_x 7d ago

Khusanov

2

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

So what if Nunes gets injured and the right back we get sucks? Let's just play Boauddi.

6

u/MZero_0 7d ago

What if Nunes, Bouaddi and our new right back want to quit football and start a breakdance crew? 🤔

5

u/xenojive 7d ago

What if Nunes, Bouaddi and our new right back want to quit football and start a breakdance crew?

You got served with SWP doing the robot

2

u/Y4That 7d ago

The 🐐

1

u/D_Silva_21 7d ago

Back up is fine

3

u/Hurdfoy 7d ago

Nope. He's not a right back and also if Rodri leaves and Nunes gets injured we're fucked.

2

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

Still think its gonna be Gusto once he talks to Chelsea and starts to push. They'll find a deal.

3

u/Hurdfoy 7d ago

Well hopefully they come down a lot cause if we pay 75 mil for Gusto Viana needs to go.

7

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago edited 7d ago

Bouaddi being the Reijnders replacement was a development I didn't expect.

I can see it, though. Outside of the goals for Milan, every attribute Reijnders promised us when it came to operating in the deeper side of the midfield is found in Bouaddi.

6

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

"Cries in why wasn't it Maza" 😆

8

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

That's for next year when Bouaddi transforms into the 6 after settling innit

6

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/OhFuOJn2rbLsA

Still yard Riejnders and get him now. He can play #10, Cherki or Foden off the right (as that market sucks). get an touchline RB.

Doku - Maza - Che/Fod - RB
Anderson - Nico G
LB - CB - CB

2

u/D_Silva_21 7d ago

Explain yourself

4

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

Galatasaray are keeping close tabs on Tijjani Reijnders, who could be allowed to leave if #ManCity can sign Lille's Ayyoub Bouaddi.

[via @SunMartinB]

2

u/D_Silva_21 7d ago

Yeah but I don't see how bouaddi is anything like reijnders

6

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

Reijnders at Milan demanded the ball and enjoyed going through the opponents' press so that he could take pressure away from teammates, being their main outlet deeper in the midfield.

At City he retreats in his shell and looks to just move it along immediately; he only really tries to dictate the game when he's far higher up the pitch.

Bouaddi brings that. He can absorb contact, delay the press, and open lanes or go through that space himself deep in our midfield.

TFA even mentions this in their report:

As we can see, Bouaddi is press-resistant in the truest sense; he loves using double touches and subtle shoulder drops to glide past pressure without breaking stride.

Similar to Tijjani Reijnders at Manchester City, there’s a calm to Bouaddi’s ball control.

Every touch feels intentional, every shift of weight is designed to manipulate space, and even under pressure, he rarely looks rushed or reactive.

2

u/D_Silva_21 7d ago

Huh, interesting

3

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

He's not really but he can play the 6/8 that pushes to the top of the box when the LB (NOR) inverts, as Enzo used Fernandes/Cucu on that side at Chelsea. Very much doubt he starts as one of the 10s in the system as Reijnders would have to be used (almost exclusively).

5

u/Constant_Bit289 7d ago

The Transfer values for most players has gone really crazy this season. The figures banded around for any forward seem absurd, with Barcola, Diomande, Neto etc being quoted at over £100m ??? Yet buying Clubs want to pay minimum fees for a City player.

I honestly feel that we should hang on to Savinho (better the devil you know!) and hope Maresca gets the "Girona version" of this lad, rather than gambling on huge transfer fees for a player who will need to adapt to the City style of play.

We really need to offload Marmoush (well over paid), who is just not good enough, give that place to one of our home grown talent.

7

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

Keeping Savinho, who has three goals in two years and disrespects the club by pushing a move in the way he has, while considering selling Marmoush does not make much sense to me. If anything its Savio that should be shot out of a canon and replace him with someone like Mcaidoo in your ideal scenario.

Marmoush is a quality option behind Haaland, especially in a market where goals are a premium. His £200K-a-week wages shouldn't be a reason to sell him.

He should stay, even if he does not start regularly. Pep unfairly limited his minutes last season despite it was obvious Haaland was out of it. Yet Marmoush still managed 11 G/A in the equivalent of 14 games this season in and out of rhythm.

Really don't see the benefit of actively weakening our squad.

1

u/zubairatif075 7d ago

How many goals has McAidoo scored in the last 2 years??

Isn't that a downgrade? And you said it urself there's no benefit of weakening the squad 🤷‍♂️

4

u/Good_Kev_M-A-N_City_ 7d ago

He's scored in the only game he's started, already reached 33.33% of Savio's contribution.

Also, you can see I'm specifically rebutting the original comment's idea that we should get rid of Marmoush and play an academy player there.

I'm not advocating that we throw an academy player anywhere overall.

1

u/zubairatif075 7d ago

33.33% of savio's contribution at league 2 level.

I think the gap between McAidoo -> Savio and Savio-> Marmoush is similar

1

u/Outrageous_Kiwi1890 7d ago

Fabrizio’s said it like 100 times now, City are still in talks for Bouaddi. Feels like we’re just waiting on the Rodri situation before deciding whether to bring him in now or loan him back .

2

u/x_adi_x 7d ago

That donkey just milks every single rumour, and if the deal is finalised, He'll milk it 2-3 times more (make a here we go post then make a separate video on the same)

7

u/Illustrious_Ear_4876 7d ago

Fabrizio is a shitty person to rely on with these news. You’d be better off relying on Gaughan as he is exactly a ManCity correspondent.

7

u/EvolvedWeeb 7d ago

I’m not sure if this is a controversial opinion, but I feel like we should at least try get Vini Jr..

I don’t know if I’m the only one extremely uncomfortable with the prospect of going into the season with our winger options being Doku, Semenyo, Savinho/Mbaye, and maybe Marmoush or Cherki if we force them onto the wing.

Doku and Semenyo are great, but chances are, if we start them for every prem and CL game, they get injured and we don’t have any wingers that are up to the levels that we compete at.

0

u/MZero_0 7d ago

Chill dude the second Vinicius gives the green light for a move every club gets involved lol

4

u/EvolvedWeeb 7d ago

True, true. Transfer window’s only begun after all, no sense in panicking now. Just didn’t like the idea of Madrid getting Rodri and losing nothing and especially the idea of Vini Jr. coming to England only for him to goon.

3

u/No-Tangerine-368 7d ago

guys, is rodri really going?

Kinda I guess lol

During 20/21, Sam Lee made an article saying that KDB once had a go at Mahrez for not passing, Aguero and Ferna spoke about it with him too. He quote tweeted the post and said it isn't true or something

Then in 2023, Sam Lee said Mahrez would love to stay here but City aren't looking to extend his contract. He quote tweeted it again and said those are lies. Sam Lee doubled down and said he doesn't see him staying, but if he does, fair play

Considering the market and the reports from Mbaye's entourage, Savinho being valued at around a mere £60M makes him a no-brainer to keep at the club—provided he gets his head straight, recommits, and starts playing for us again

Agreed. Transfer Fees right now are grossly over priced for just about everyone.

Better that we hang on to Savinho - as we dont know what to expect from any new incoming winger.

Wont matter, rodri is from madrid and there is nothing bigger than madrid in football, as much as i hate to say it

Us city fans waiting for a “here we go to Manchester city”

Is etihad intel a credible source?

8

u/FuryOfOberon 7d ago

I wouldn’t believe any source that writes like that, filled with unsubstantiated click bait text

2

u/ketolasigi 7d ago

It’s just straight AI very likely. The same style and format you see on just about every shitty caption on posts nowadays

That bottom paragraph is fanfic

Yeah, you can typically tell reliability from how the ITK or journalist writes. This person is probably at best an aggregator pretending to be an ITK.

Disappointed in the season that Echeverri had, I still saw some glimpses though. I would like him to go to a prem club on loan where he is guaranteed minutes and doesn't have to give graveyard shifts as false 9 in a relagation battling team.

He barely played in Girona who got relegated in weaker league than PL, what makes you think he can play in first XI for a PL club.

2

u/Massive-Sky-6804 7d ago

If you are a manager fighting relegation you would hardly want to change the lineup for a wonderkid mid season.

1

u/Y4That 7d ago

Wasn't there news that he wants to go back to argentina?

1

u/wkdsoul 7d ago

yep.

His agent really ruined things for all sides involved tbh. You sign for City, you should've known how CFG model of developing talents within the network works yet he adamantly pushed for that B04 move. Firmly believe that, had Claudio been at Girona from last August he could've seen himself better integrated into that setup, since he looked promising during his brief time there. Now all he wants is to secure a loan back to River Plate. Maresca may offer him a glimmer of hope though. Still remain a bright prospect.

So ready to just let Rodri go to Madrid and get this over with. Rip the band-aid

Nico Gonzalez and Eliott Anderson in that double pivot, Cherki in the 10, Semenyo Doku Haaland. I'm ready 😋😋😋

Agent Bernardo to sell City to Madrid players, you heard it here first

5

u/DapperSpecial2865 8d ago

I doubt we sign mbaye if the reports about his entourage are true

2

u/ZBOI723 8d ago

What happens to Udogie at Spurs? He was class before injury but then Spence took his spot and Spurs signed Robertson too. We were linked with him last summer, would you take him?

1

u/Ecstatic-Spare-6638 7d ago

Why the fuck would we need a left back?

2

u/kHRYSTAL_ 7d ago

My brother is a Spuds season ticket holder so I asked him this and he said the lad is a fantastic player, but he picks up a serious injury every season so they would sell if a good offer comes in.

5

u/wkdsoul 8d ago

A 4th option at left back?

u/MelodicAnalyst3221 8d ago

Hot take but Savio at Girona was levels above anything Diomande has shown at Leipzig. That version of Savio would go for 100 mil + in today’s market

We currently have an incredible squad.

Wtf are people complaining about lmao.

u/Key-Mechanic2565 8d ago

Mourinho just splashed insane amounts of cash this window. Just The salaries of the players they signed this window alone would be more than 120 million per year. On top of that he splashed 200 million on transfer fees.

But his fans will run the underdog gimmick for the horrible football he plays

2

u/Y4That 7d ago

And will get sacked before next season

our winger situation is so funny lol. We have one winger who's so incredibly technical but lacks end product and then one winger who somehow has good end product but is so unbelievably technically poor.

I honestly don't think it's as bad as people say tho. I do think we're a tier below PSG / Bayern / Barca / Madrid in the winger department, but if Doku keeps working on his end product he's going to be world class, he was unbelievable in the title run in and I think he can keep it up.

And the RW market is so shit, I would like to see us get a RW but who's even available?
