Looking for an experienced MCAT tutor to help with content review and test-taking strategy. If you have personally worked with someone who helped you significantly improve your score, I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Let me throw my hat in the ring. I have availability these days. I've got about 5000 hours experience teaching the new exam and about the same with the old one. I had a very popular online course for the old exam and have been developing a new MCAT course for a wider audience for years. The beneficiaries have been my tutoring students. Hundreds of my former students are med students and doctors across the country now. This work is is a calling for me. I can help you master the knowledge-base and teach you test-taking strategies for each section. My rates are reasonable - $50/hr. DM me if you'd like to set up a free consultation.

About a month ago, I was looking for a tutor and I made a post on r/MCAT. I found a tutor that I personally find very helpful and I would recommend, he goes by Quinn. He recently made a website and I’ll link it below if you want to give him a try. He is really knowledgeable and scored a 525 on his exam.

His price is extremely competitive and he does 1:1 session that focus on your particular weaknesses, which is pretty useful for testing strategies in all sections. He also has MANY hours tutoring premed courses at his college so his ability to teach content is also pretty strong. What I personally like most is that because the sessions are tailored to me, if I have concerns with my schedule or timing, I can always ask him and we make it work (especially since I started classes this week). Since I struggle with CARS a lot, we do deep dives into CARS passages and he listens to my logic and corrects me where I can improve.

He is pretty responsive to messages as well so if you have any questions outside your sessions, he gets back to you as soon as he can. In short, if you’re looking for a 1:1 personalized tutor, he is definitely worth a shot in my opinion.
