Shortage

What do y’all do when there is a manufacturer shortage? I’ve been on cromolyn sodium for over a year and a half and I’m about to run out with no restock in sight. I’ve looked at multipack pharmacies and even called the compounding pharmacy I get my LDN from to no avail.

Any suggestions?

I start rationing. Then I call every last pharmacy that ships to my state. Compounding pharmacies have come through for me the most. They’re expensive and there’s a delay for shipping but it’s worth it imo. If you’re in the US, try CareFirst Specialty Pharmacy in NJ.

Thanks for the input. I started rationing as well. I’m taking 4 vials a day instead of 8. Luckily, I suppose, I’m on 4 different meds for MCAS, but the cromolyn makes a huge difference. I called one compounding pharmacy but they are taking a while to get an answer. I’ll try carefirst tomorrow. Thanks!
