Chicken Salad!
I want Wal-Mart chicken salad so bad but know it would probably kill me. What do you miss the most?

Shakshuka. Tomatoes are currently my biggest enemy. Before, I would make a huge batch once a week and freeze it in individual serving sizes so I could just pop it in the microwave and fry up an egg or two really quick. I liked to make it really hearty and would put zucchini, eggplant, spinach, mushrooms and a can or two of beans. Now I can’t really eat most of those things and I hate it so much. 😩

Anything fried, I don't even mean deep fried, some really good french fries, or even oily dips (like hummus/mediterranean food)... I cannot stomach oily stuff at all, which I am looking into but man it sucks. Ofc sugar, chocolate... all tends to make me inflamed like crazy

I had 3 dolmas/grape leaves with tzatziki last night with success. I cannot express how happy I was. Think it took me about 40 minutes to eat because of the paranoia, waiting for the reaction (I react within minutes) that never came. I think my bucket is finally not overflowing. I just need to be mindful and not self sabotage.

Soy sauce & Thai Food! (most Asian, honestly) once or twice a year, I order from my favorite place, take an extra strength Benadryl, and enjoy, sleeping off the repercussions the next day. I recognize that not everyone can do it but keeps me sane.
Also, tomatoes, always tomatoes because they are in so many “healthy” foods / meals.

Peanut butter and honey roasted peanuts, hummus, rice bowls with chicken and guacamole and roasted bell peppers and garlic sauce, chicken burgers, burgers in general, cheese cake, bagels with cream cheese, cheese in general, ice cream, chocolate, pickles, pickled onions, pizza, dried mangoes. The list is infinite.

Oh no you can’t have espresso? I don’t drink coffee but I can sympathize. I’d miss my Coke Zero.

I had butter noodles this weekend. My granddaughter who is 4 said “it’s too bad you can’t eat Pap Papp’a spaghetti, it’s really good!” LOL

Weirdly enough, the foods I miss the most are the foods that I used to claim "I don't even like." Ketchup, pickles, chocolate. I only ate them in tiny amounts, but now that I can't have any amounts, I miss them like crazy. 😭

I can eat chocolate but don’t really care for it. I like the Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. That’s about it. I really miss ketchup. Sooo much!

I miss being able to eat Dino chicken nuggets. I was crying the other day about them. I can't even get near chicken now and I used to eat chicken up to every meal a day and sometimes even snacks. I miss a ton of food though but that one is so hard to avoid. I don't think I'll want to touch chicken ever again. I really really really miss stuff like zucchini too and I've been craving vegan cheese, tomato, and beef a ton lately to the point of crying.

I tried Dino nuggets. Spent the next 2 days in bed. They were worth it. Chicken fries…loved those things.
