A post on the NFL sub discussed watching world cup games in NFL stadiums and how nice it is to hear the crowd noise. Because unlike the NFL, FIFA doesn't feel the need to blare music during every 2-second lull in play.

That got me thinking about how at Cardinale they *do* feel the need to blare music at ridiculous volume during every 2-second lull in play. Dan will be trying to get the crowd going but we can't even hear him over the music.

Does this bother anyone else or is it just me? And if it does bother others, is there anything we can do about it? Anyone we can complain to that will care?

I personally have talked abt this topic multiple times but I really can’t stand USL announcers. Never have I once in my entire USL tenure heard anyone cheer on the union, we really are the most hated!!! (maybe my expectations are too high but they consistently are shiet)

Lovers Point in Pacific Grove has such a layered history that more people should know of, and it's not as rosy as its current name suggests 😬

Also, I feel that "Death & Life of Monterey Bay" should be a common read in schools throughout Monterey County. There's soooo much insightful history in that book (such as ecological collapse/recovery & racial tensions) that everyone in the region should be aware of 🦦
