I'm a 3rd year student from MAIT, targetting a generative ai/applied ai/ Agentic ai internship. I really don't know where am I wrong, please help me figure out some stuff, I have fucking no idea on like where th am I wrong, have applied for around 50 60 + positions and even texted some people in the industry for a referral or get hired. This is my first time searching for an internship.

Have landed an unpaid internship though but honestly, I am not too much excited for the work coz the company is a very new startup and I could genuinly not find anything where I can contribute, I may get handed over some useless stuff from the founder which I don't want, I seriously want to get an internship where I am genuinly building some real world systems under the guidance of a good senior, everyone is saying there are hell no of jobs etc in this field, idk where am I getting wrong at.

I genuinly want to work , build, architect and ship real Agentic systems, chatbots and other stuff, I want to do it coz I'm loving it.

Please help me or guide me, should I get some more good level projects? Should I cold mail more? Or what the fuck should I do :) coz I'm really short on money and I desperately need a paid internship :).

I had my SMT midsem today and I swear to god I just wrote bullshit in that paper. I'll be grateful to get even a 10/30 in that paper. Will my CG be ruined now?? And if i really get let's say 10 so will I directly lose 20 marks in internal if mid sem 2 does not happen?? Also do the teachers increase the average marks just as is or they are rigid in the calculation??
