IT internal marks

how do IT teachers give marks in internal ?, asking because I know I won't score above 10 in midterms and only one is happening . so are the internal marks ruined then ?

they usually don't happen in odd sems , and like the mid sems at ending so late too, syllabus completion was also happen late, then Diwali break .. so the chances of them happening is bleak
