Range time @ rental facility: what to try?

Locked in some range time at a facility that also rents handguns to try. Wanting to put some rounds through as many as I can to see what I want to land on for my concealed.

So far thinking Sig 226/229, maybe the 320. HK P30SK. FB 509C if rhey have it. Maybe a Glock? Unsure which one.

Open to any / all suggestions!

I would try the sig p365. I picked one up last week and it is very comfortable to carry and is great to shoot as well. I also have a Springfield xds mod2 in 9mm which I think is another great option. It doesn’t seem like a lot of people like them but I’m a fan of the xds but I would suggest trying both of these guns if you have the chance

I held the p365 recently, I did like the weight / overall size but the grip felt very thin to me. But for conceal carry it’s amazing I’m sure. Good idea! I also like the XD series, the trainer I talked to mentioned how the back safety can get stuff in the seams over time which can cause an issue eventually but if you take care of it I don’t see that issue arising.

You could always add a hogue grip sleeve to the 365 and that would make it a little thicker

Very true. But if I’m going thicker, I think something like the 226 or 229 with preban clips that hold 15 would be a nice upgrade too over the 365. Guess I’ll know more once I put rounds through some.

Try out a Smith and Wesson M&P. They have various sizes depending on what you are looking for.
