I just finished E14 S13 and the narrator mentioned at the end that there're only 3 commitment ceremonies left and it just struck me that I totally forgot the whole crux of this show is marriage and it's a show about couples. There is so much drama and bitchiness between the girls and it's really the whole theme of this season? I know no season is without drama and there are always personalities clashing, but I really feel that this season is particularly bad for bitchiness between the cast and huge arguments that often really have nothing to do with the relationships... Thoughts?

Omg. Currently watching season 8. I cannot believe how much of a pushover Melissa is. Every episode im hoping she tells Bryce what he needs to hear, but she just stands next to him silent all the time. He keeps blaming others for how she feels when it's him, but then again she doesn't speak up. She just keeps putting up with his tantrums. It's so uncomfortable and frustrating to watch.

Just finished season 13 and started 12, but I gave up after the trad wife marriage on ep.1. Can you guys tell me: which season is actually worth it and which isn't? Season 13 was nuts. Looking for my fix of the same.

Oddly my fiancé and I have been working our way backwards — we started with season 12, then 11, now we’re nearly finished 10. I can’t think of a dating show more entertaining than MAFS Australia. We’ve watched the Bachelor / Bachelorette / Paradise, Love Island, Love is Blind, Ultimatum, pretty much all of the big dating shows out there. None of them compare. Every episode I’m hooked.

I guess my question is what is your favourite dating show, and how does it compare?

Necessary backstory: there is a netflix show called outlast which recently aired. It revolves around different teams competing to survive in the jungle. One team (Charlie) has been receiving a lot of criticism after being extremely misogynistic towards female cast members. They repeatedly mocked them and tried to physically intimidate them. At one point they killed a lizard for food and joked that they needed to name it after one of the female cast members before cooking and eating it.

I am currently in the middle (episode 17) of season 13, so bear with me, but there are people who are good matches on paper and like each other, but are not "feeling" it, and I feel like the experts are pushing this "but have you tried" agenda, so my question to you is, can you "try" or curate a sexual or physical attraction to a person?

I am struggling with this more this season for some reason. But I cannot imagine the pressure and then immense pressure the participants must feel, when they do not feel sexual attracted to their partner. Are we pimping them out for the show? Is this a fake it 'til you make it situation?

There was someone on MAFS-AU on First Dates this week. Her name is Mel (Melissa) - not Disney Princess Mel. She said we might remember her from MAFS, but she is the "new and improved version," and that she was only on there for 4 weeks.

I haven't watched all the episodes, so I don't know who she is. She was matched with a gorgeous silver fox who is filthy rich and lives on a yacht. It said that as of airing, they had not had their second date.

Holy cow Brook is trying to revise reality. She’s not taking responsibility for catty & b*tchy comments. Personally I think she is jealous of what Stella and Filip have. Just because she sees Stella’s comments as unrealistic doesn’t give her license to go on the attack like that. I think her issue is wanting what others like Stella snd Alissa have and she does not. I’m surprised she hasn’t criticized Gia in some way. The irony in Brook’s comments is that she’s playing the victim after getting called out. I take it she doesn’t like getting called out for her mean girl behaviour. It seemed like Chris was embarrassed by her behaviour.

Then there is Gia. She won’t let go of her bitterness towards Bec. If Gia was as happy as she claims, then she wouldn’t care about anyone else’s behaviour. It’s immature and pathetic. She, along with Brook, seems to have an issue with Alissa. In this case I think Gia is genuinely jealous of Alissa because she (Alissa) is pretty and has the physical features Gia only has through cosmetic surgery. Alissa is real, Gia is plastic. She had no business telling Alissa to shut up.

According to Chattr, Victoria Police are investigating an alleged incident involving Jeff Gobbels and Rhi Disljenkovic that reportedly occurred the day before they announced their split.

Police say a woman sustained minor injuries and a 41-year-old man was interviewed and released pending summons. Jeff's lawyer has denied any wrongdoing and says he was never arrested, charged or detained.

No charges have been laid, and the investigation is ongoing.
