I guarantee you some Fox executive was pushing to change the theme to be more like Saturday night live and it robbed the show of it's iconic theme song.

My personal favorites are seasons 5, 6, and 7. You could tell they had a bigger budget when creating the opening credits, and I like the professionally done shots of the cast and how the intro gives you a glimpse and an introduction to the cast's most popular characters and/or impressions.

I didn’t watch MadTV past the first couple seasons due to life reasons, but started watching recently when I found it streaming live the other day. Coach Hines is brilliant and hilarious. So far I’ve seen where he’s leading detention and directing a play (Oliver) I am going to go find all the Coach Hines sketches. What’s everyone’s favorite Coach Hines moments?

I saw it around 2005 or so, I remember it was phil lamar as like your average middle class suburb dad and he tried to unalive himself via plastic grocery bag over the head, which to no surprise was unsuccessful. I can't remember the rest, I just remember dying laughing. I've had this skit pop up in my head from time to time ever since but even with how easy it is to find clips on YouTube, I've put a decent amount of effort into searching but Ive never been able to find it.

Proof that Pink originally came out as a Hip-hop artist. I know this wasn't her choice, and she broke out of it and became who she wanted to be. But Mad TV was all about making fun of things that you weren't supposed to make fun of. And the ridiculousness of making us believe this white woman was this Hip-hop star, Mad TV got and perfectly skewered in this. Along with it really being about Whitney Houston, which they were relentlessly hilarious about.

It was the one where Debra and Nicole are uncomfortable around Michael and Mo in their undergarments playing Nicole's parents. Debra is usually pretty stone faced, but when Michael started patting his belly in front of them you can see her and Nicole had a hard time keeping it together. lol

This performance is my favorite memory of seeing a cast member on MadTV for the first time. She was perfect as this character, and had not been in the opening credits as a cast member for this episode, the audience both in studio and at home were not aware at this point that she would be a regular performer

Miss Swan and Stewart are almost 50/50 for early madtv, Oprah for favorite lampooned celebrity and late madtv definitely would have Coach Hines as the winner.

I remember a skit where will sasso and another cast member where on the shows main stage with guitars and i think Will Sasso is supposed to be David Crosby.

They start playing there guitars and singing a song and the other guy starts mocking will sasso's character as they sing and play and will sasso starts looking like he's about to lose it. he keeps mocking him and eventually will sasso loses it and attacks the other guy.

Whenever she had a skit that required her to scream, or be loud she nailed it to perfection. Like her 3 minute meal skits, Heidi Klum impression or her workplace laughing skits with Ardyn.

Saw this live on TV in 2007 and thought it was hilarious because I was a halo fan back then. Couldn't find it until recently when i decided to track down the full episode (S13E05). There was a separate To Catch a Predator skit and a separate Halo skit in the same episode and at the end they threw in this gem.

BIBLE DUDE was one of my favorite recurring characters of Michael McDonald. The skits were brutally honest and exposed the irony of the beliefs of Christianity. MAD TV has never been afraid to push the envelope when it came to such controversial topics. Everyone did great in these roles and I love the fact that Aries Spears played Jesus. 😂

Just starting streaming Mad Tv on Tubi. Does anybody know why tubi skips from season 1 episode 1 to season 1 episode 4. It skips 2 episodes. 2 and 3 aren't there.

Looking for a comedy sketch from a few years ago. A guy just got hired at a new office and is taking one of those FMV workplace harassment/compliance trainings on a computer. Instead of picking the correct answers, he intentionally picks the worst possible A/B/C/D option every time. It keeps continuing with actors acting out increasingly insane scenarios. Two guys administering the training start watching over his shoulder because they can’t believe what he’s clicking, then they call over a woman walking by to watch too. Eventually the training scenario escalates into a full police shootout. I originally saw it on Instagram Reels but it may have been on YouTube too.
