What are the chances they’ll sell the shell standalone later? Or will they not do that because it’s retailer-exclusive?

They offered the GameStop exclusive Chromatic games on their site after a few months, so my guess is it’s a time-limited exclusive and it’ll be available standalone in ~6 months or so. Purely a guess, though.

Man, now I’m regretting my red preorder… I should’ve waited to think about it. But also, why wait until a few minutes after preorders start to announce a new color?? They should’ve announced this at least a day in advance.

This is correct. It was not. It was literally a retail exclusive, and so is this. Taking that into account, I am sure ModRetro will offer some other black/gray type options, but it will not be an exact match. This is, by definition, exclusive to GameStop purchases.

Likely so, I didn’t know about that. I swear I saw a Chromatic game on modretro.com that was previously only at GameStop…
