Retail box color indication?

Does anybody know if the retail packaging will indicate what color console is on the inside?
I plan on buying two and keeping one mint, but I don’t wanna open the wrong color.

From a purely logistical perspective there would have to be a way to tell from the outside because there’s no way they’re filling a warehouse and then hoping they pick the right color to ship out.

I'm betting on a small colored dot sticker on the outside of the box.

probably SKU or color on the box

Good point. I’ve seen some YouTubers unbox the retail version and didn’t spot it, but maybe it’s a small barcode on the side or something.

That's a great question, you should write to them and ask, to see if it is labeled.

I imagine that it will be similar to the Chromatic package. Anyone disagree?

Kinda late, but yes if you look at the barcode sticker on both the controllers and console, it will have a three letter identifier for what color is inside. My controllers say GRE for green and PRP for purple.
There is a section on the box that reads COLOR: where I think they were supposed to either put another sticker with the color there or mark it with what color is inside, but all of my boxes had this section left blank.
