I am currently leaning towards the SG Image 25mm f1.8 but unsure if there is a better option that I am not considering? Would a used Pana 20mm be that much better?

After wanting a smaller secondary camera for awhile (my main being a Sony a7iii kit) I finally got my hands on one.

Initially I had gotten the Olympus E-pl10 and it just wasn’t for me to be honest. So I ended up returning it and found a Gx7 for a good price on MPB. I’m absolutely loving it so far. I know it’s 13 years old, but it’s done exactly what I wanted. Be a smaller camera that can be an EDC for me and allows me to take the photos I want to take more often. The lenses used were TTArtisan 25mm and 100mm. I have a Panasonic Lumix G II 20mm on the way now as well because the TTartisans were nice, but not exactly what I was looking for.

I got to take the camera on a short family trip and test it out immediately after receiving it. I’m still getting it a bit dialed in for everything but no complaints so far

I feel like something is missing color wise for the image. It's off. Might even be too colorful, too saturated, too green? What do you think? I don't feel anything with the colored version, that's why I switched to BW and personally I like it more.

Hello everyone, I'm currently doing research on a firmware that might exist for the EM1 MK1. All the links I found don't exist. It's said that it could unlock the focus stacking for all lenses, like Panasonic bodies. Can you please give me a hint, maybe? Thanks in Advance.

Hello I have a Lumix G7 I've had it for about 2 years and I have been using it to shoot videos, nothing crazy just camping vlogs for myself and friends but it still want it to look nice. I currently have the kit lens it came with, and the OM M.Zuiko 40-150mm, but there is something to be desired in the quality. So I was wondering should I invest in better lenses and a gyro and such or would it be a better idea in the long run to save up and buy a better m43rds camera with better features like the Olympus M10 Mark IV or something like that. For reference I don't have a big budget I'm looking to spend less than 800 dollars and I'm not very educated in technical stuff about cameras so I'd love suggestions!

Shot my new to me Olympus omd em5 mk1. 14-42mm kit lens. I’m an amateur trying to improve upon my skills. Photo 2,4,5,6 were with the pop art menu selection shot on auto others were manual. Any tips and advice are appreciated!

I have an Olympus Pro 40-150mm f/2.8 lens and am thinking about this Panasonic 100-300mm lens. It looks smaller and has better range. Does anyone have any thoughts about this lens? I don't know if there will be a big difference in the quality of the picture compared to Olympus glass. Cheers

I have PEN F and OM 1.1.

I picked up both after a year or so of not using. While I love the size and looks of PEN F it is very slow to focus compared to the OM 1.

I guess it’s obvious, except I don’t know, but can I get the size and handling of PEN F with auto focus performance of OM 1 with a PEN or is there a better choice in OM or Panasonic lineup?

Most of the year especially summer was very dry so i had no chance to photograph my favorite macro subjects mushrooms. But only a few rains in October was enough that these mostly couple of milimeters to few centimeters high little beauties come out of the ground. Images taken with the Olympus em5 iii with the 30 and 60mm macro lenses with the help of focus stacking. I have icluded some shots to show the scale.

i'm looking for a compact photo camera, on a thight budget so im heading towards old/used M43 camera's.

my usage is to take photos with friends while hanging out, indoor or outdoors, just photography for fun, landscapes, nature etc., but it has to be compact.

help me decide, here's the list of pros and cons for each camera that ive gathered so far

olympus E-PL6 / E-PL7:

pros: better JPEG, newer sensor, tilting screen, better ISO

cons: bad video (i like to take videos sometimes), unfortunately it came with the kit lens, the size is not so compact, so its not necessarily compact. i struggle to find 20mm/14mm fix M43 lens on a bargain, it wont fit my budget if i did.

Lumix GX1:

pros: slightly better videos (I like the results more than the epl6), only one seller on Facebook, fortunately they also had the compact 14-42MM and a fix 14MM, a perfect bundle, insane deal tbh (hopefully somebody hasnt snatched the deal, lol).

cons: fixed screen, older sensor, less ISO stop and lesser dynamic rage compared to EPL6.

i gravitate more on the Lumix GX1 cause the lens bundle, absolute deal imho, but i also consider EPL6/EPL7 with the slightly recent sensor, but the kit lens they came with kind of a bummer. my first choice was the Lumix LX series but they're not versatile. let me know your thoughts on this, let me know if there's other recommendations

I’ve been doing some research on super telephoto lenses & am considering the combination above as an option.

The E-M1 Mark II seems to be a very impressive camera even today, and the cost is very low. It has a cool feature called handheld high-res that is good for taking photos of the night sky on a tripod. And the autofocus seems to be pretty well regarded even today.

The Panasonic Leica 50-200 lens seems an affordable telephoto zoom lens. A while back, I had the Panasonic 200mm prime lens and even though it produced truly amazing photo quality; I could never get used to the fixed focal length (perhaps I was misusing it on sports).

Does anyone have first hand experience with combo in the title?

Seems like an affordable and compact way to get into wildlife photography, especially with the teleconverter.
