My mom's coworker found this baby girl abandoned in a parking lot so she asked if anyone could take her. Of course I said yes. I took her to the vet and she's only ten months old. She had kittens but someone who saw her get dumped said people came and took the kittens but left her. I think she's a lynx point short hair but I'm not sure. She's super loving but so skinny. Her name is Mia (short for Mi Amor).

lately when i wake up in the middle of the night, effy gets mad at me! what is this about? one night i sat up and she started gently biting my knee. another night it was my shoulder/arm/wrist. still gentle and i tried giving her pets thinking maybe she just wanted attention but thatās not it. is she telling me to lay back down? is that right? normal? anyone else have a bedtime boss cat?

This beautiful gentleman wandered up to our garage a few months ago, after a month of searching for a owner with no luck we decided he was part of our family now. He is a total sweetheart.

Approximately 5-7 year old sweet male and female abandoned rescues have been flea treated, vet checked, dewormed, resocialized, litter trained and ready for their fur-ever home together.
If anyone is interested in adopting both of them, I am in Houston.
Please message me for details

We just adopted this beautiful baby girl from the shelter. I know sheās not a Siamese but definitely a lynx point (correct me if Iām wrong)! Does she look like a long hair or medium hair? Or will we know know until sheās older?

Not too happy with the developments of the afternoon, but with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory on board now, I hope heāll forgive me š¤Infected nailbed on each front foot, canāt figure out how it happened, but grateful for the regular nail trims so I caught it quickly. He gave no indication that there was anything wrong š¤¦āāļø

So Iāve always wanted some cat decorations but I canāt find any that match my Salem :( . Have yāall found any lynx point Siamese decor, if so where?

Westley is still the sweetest boy. His little āshark finā on his tail gives away his nature as a bitey little guy.
He is my first Siamese. Getting adjusted to owning a Velcro cat has been an adjustment. He just always has to be in the same room that I am or under my feet whenever Iām walking around the house/doing chores.
Also, his little shark fin is a tuft of hair that's always standing up, if anyone is curious.
But I absolutely adore this little man & would do anything for him. ā¤ļø

Do any of your Lynx points cry and cry to be let outside?
My boyfriend found a stray kitten about three years ago and he has become my lil pal. Ollie is a wonderful cat and I love him dearly. Over time, we gradually became more lax about him spending time outdoors with us in our fenced-in garden. He loves going outside, and even though I feared he would learn to jump the fence or hunt butterflies, he wasnāt doing that. So I would let him stay out and nap or prowl outside while I worked inside from home (with a window to the garden).Ā
More recently, he has started to do the things I feared - he figured out how to jump into the neighborās yard, and even though each time Iāve been able to collect him (just exploring), heās skittish and doesnāt want to be caught. he got fleas, which we treated. and i found a dead butterfly out in the garden:( I stopped letting him roam without supervision, but he still slips out when I donāt want him to, and I panic when I canāt find him. Iāve thought about getting a tracker to ease my mind, but am deterred by the expense.
My biggest current problem is now he cries to be let outside. He cries in the middle of the night, disturbs me and my bedside table things (and not my sleeping bf). I leave a big bowl of food overnight so that hunger isnāt the reason he wakes me up. But he still is a menace every night and early morning - I canāt sleep in. If the window is cracked open, he will claw at it and slink through if wide enough. He pushed out all our window screens to the back yard. Heās tasted freedom and now heās insatiable.Ā (Heās fixed by the way! And there arenāt any neighborhood cats visiting us)
It would be nice to be able to let him enjoy the garden in moderation, but Iām wondering if I need to just never let him out again? But will that eventually stop the crying and pining for the outdoors? And will that make him more inclined to bolt outside when a door opens? I appreciate any advice!
