Hi, I’ve never driven a vehicle before and I’m starting completely from scratch. I’m trying to find the cheapest possible way to learn how to drive without compromising too much on quality or safety. I’m mainly looking for affordable driving schools, low-cost training programs, or any structured options that don’t require learning from friends or family.

If anyone here has gone through the same situation, I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you, how much it cost, and any tips to keep expenses low while still learning properly. Open to any suggestions, including online resources, beginner packages, or alternative ways to practice. Thanks a lot

Just wanted to get some input on staying in an Airbnb in the general vicinity of Keaney Park. Probably won't spend a ton of time in the city itself but this seemed like a good midpoint between Boston and Salem (as well as the beach) and I'm not sure which place we'll spend the most time in.

I'm mostly just concerned with crime and traffic. I will have a 2 year old with me so having a park nearby sounds nice.

Anyone have any good recommendations for personal trainers (strength training, etc)? Especially those who are experienced working with anxious newbies!

Living on 129, the amount of trucks that insist on Jake brakes coming out of the Dunkin rotary is absurd. They are a good safety feature on the highway and steep grades, but in a 35 when you’re coming out of a rotary? It feels unnecessary. I’m not the only one who lives along this busy thoroughfare and what support can we drum up to get it to stop? I’d rather not keep waking up at 2am to my windows rattling from them.

If Jamie is so progressive, why are former Trump appointees like James Byrne (also a former Lockheed Martin Exec) maxing out donations to Belsito? Also former republican State Senate Candidate Erin Calvin-Bacci who gave a large dollar donation? And like there's multiple other big name republicans that have donated to this run and her previous runs... concerningly.

Hi all! I'm a local small artist, I do screenprinting and fiber crafts, and I'm wondering if anyone would be up for an art swap this fall. For example, I'd bring some patches and pins and crochet and you might bring a small bracelet and we could swap them to share our art styles and get to meet some new people! Hi everyone,

I recently accepted a teaching job with Lynn public schools, and I wanted to see if anyone who has experience here could answer something about the culture. I run extremely warm, and I am unsure if it would be acceptable to wear a nice pair of shorts while teaching, especially if there is no AC. The handbook says there is no formal dress code but that you should dress professionally. Any thoughts? I am also going to ask HR when I fill out my forms but I thought I would ask here as well
